I've lined over it properly here. I use one forward stroke, for clean lines. If I mess up, I just undo and keep redoing until I do one stroke that I like. Because I didn't messily sketch over it, there's more confidence in the final product.

You do whatever the fuck this is. You don't have the confidence to do one stroke, so you just chickenstratch the fuck out of it. You can tell you don't have any idea what you're doing because you won't commit to just one line, and constantly go back and forth over it. It looks like shit. Your art looks like shit.
