This makes me scared to get with anyone nowadays because of this shit.
Just date older people. The majority of people who are 30 and older aren’t like this unless they are always online CNA’s.
I don’t understand one thing though, people who do this weird sort of “cleansing” of any content creator they feel goes against their so called morals to make themselves seem powerful to smaller creators, or is it that they genuinely care? I have a hard time believing any of them care about anything, really.
I once again call back to that /x/ post that claimed that an algorithm basically runs most public discourse and people go with whatever they see said. I have tried to argue with these people, most left wing, some right wing, and it’s kind of unsettling how often you can guess their replies before they even say them. Most of the time it’s a canned, repeated response like “be better”, “yikes”, or if they’re right wing (sometimes left wing but I see it mostly from right wingers) and you think something other than the accepted narrative about someone calling someone a sex pest or dating a 17 year old at 20 they call you a pedophile. “You must be the same as the criminal!”.
It’s always the same and it’s weird. They also often bring up prison rape toward people who commit crimes and are seemingly happy about it.
To get back to the /x/ post, the post said that content creators basically will get fanbases so fanatical that one day they will lynch one of them for not acting how their audience wants them too. I kind of am starting to believe it. They don’t
actually care about anything, so why do they basically act overly offended and angry when in reality it means nothing? I don’t understand it. Right now, people should be most concerned with making money so they can survive. I could not care less about people’s personal bullshit in that way.
Also what’s this about “being a good person”? Most human beings are
not “good”, which is subjective anyway. Most people are just neutral, leaning toward selfish and uncaring. I would argue that people who go out of their way to cancel people and deplatform people are scum, they are not “good people”. All “good” means to these people in regards to content creators is if the person is doing what they want them to.
