Julian Assange has won his appeal to the UK's high court to get another appeal for extradition to the US.
LONDON (AP) — A British court ruled Tuesday that Julian Assange can’t immediately be extradited to the United States on espionage charges, giving the WikiLeaks founder a partial victory in his long legal battle over the site’s publication of classified American documents.
Two High Court judges said they would grant Assange a new appeal unless U.S. authorities give further assurances within three weeks about what will happen to him. The ruling means the legal saga, which has dragged on for more than a decade, will continue — and Assange will remain inside London’s high-security Belmarsh Prison, where he has spent the last five years.
Judges Victoria Sharp and Jeremy Johnson said that if no assurances are filed by the U.S., they will grant Assange permission to appeal extradition on grounds including breach of freedom of expression, and because he might receive the death penalty.
“If assurances are given then we will give the parties an opportunity to make further submissions before we make a final decision on the application for leave to appeal,” they said.
They said a hearing will be held May 20 if the U.S. makes those submissions.

As always, the infrastructure funding was stolen by blue governors and, especially by blue city mayors, not that there was much actual infrastructure spending to begin with. The only infrastructure the Dems care about is child trafficking. And they're all onboard with that.

“DALI”, Francis Scott Key Bridge Incident

Owners and managers of the Singapore-flagged container ship “DALI” (IMO 969742report that the vessel collided with one of the pillars of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, Baltimore whilst under pilotage with two pilots onboard, at approximately 01 30 local time on 26th March.
All crew members, including the two pilots have been accounted for and there are no reports of any injuries. There has also been no pollution.
Whilst the exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined, the ‘DALI’ has now mobilised its Qualified Individual Incident response service. The US Coast Guard and local officials have been notified, and the owners and managers are fully cooperating with Federal and State government agencies under an approved plan

I'm hearing reports that the standard crew were Pajeets, but the boat at that moment was being controled by one of the local captains from the harbor, as is standard for ships entering/leaving port.
Can't confirm. And of course the question becomes, was it a DEI hire? It was 1:30 AM, that's where I'd stick the DEI hires if I was stuck with them...

Ask the International Maritime Organization, it's the regulatory body responsible for that kinda shit. Not muh US federal government or muh state government or muh county/city government or muh Murican infrastructure spending. Donald Trump's social media platform Truth Social (DJT) surged more than 50% in its first day of trading on the Nasdaq Tuesday morning.
Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group, Truth Social's parent company, were trading above $75 under the ticker symbol "DJT," Trump's initials, just after the market open.
The company merged with special purpose vehicle Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC) in a deal approved by shareholders last week. Prior to the merger, DWAC had been on the public market since 2021.
Trump founded Truth Social after he was kicked off major social media apps like Facebook and Twitter, the platform now known as X, following the Jan. 6 Capitol riots in 2021. He has since been reinstated on the platforms.
