We are rushing a little too quickly to call this an accident. I don't know how hard it would be to intentionally pick a ship with a terrible but just barely passing work ethic and hack it in such a way that the crew gets all the blame.

It’s just not possible. The electrical power plant of maritime ships are self-contained within the ship itself. They’re typically powered by generators in the engine room.

Don't necessarily attribute directed malice when the explanation is way simpler.
It's a ship run by Pajeets for Pajeets, chances are the mechanical failure of the power system was simply due to bad maintenance practices and the blow out happened at the worst possible time resulting in the casualty.

Listen, I'm more than happy to point at shit and say it's fishy, but this looks to me at least to be an accident.
The lights go out, the ship veers, the lights turn on and the ship billows smoke as they go full reverse on the diesel generator. It doesn't work, because it's a floating skyscraper.

In my experience, the only computer systems hooked up to the engine room were for telemetry and remote operation and the whole computer system existed in a close-loop that didn't communicate with anything else except the ship's system. The computer system could also be overriden manually by going down to the engine room and taking whatever action you had to.
I think, what it really is, is that you aren't really familiar with how ships work and what goes on inside them. Not really trying to slight you, but I feel like that's why you're thinking about "hacking." The main nefarious part of this, as I said in the other thread, is that the ship's captain and the company were probably well aware of mechanical deficiencies and the possibility of an engineering casualty (they possibly, probably even, had an engineering casualty exactly like this before but fixed it) but cut corners and ignored it because it would cost money to fix it and take the ship out of use for an extended period of time to correct.
Engineering casualties rarely "just happen." They're usually a result of a culmination of factors which include but don't stop with a poorly-trained crew. I'm sure the investigation will show that these guys cut corners and the engineering plant is completely fucked and was running on duct tape and prayer.

The hate against 3rd party's is like 2012 all over again except every single one that pops up pries votes of the Democrats.
Scary, idk? All the people that would've been voting Libertarian (when it was more sane) and Tea Party are voting Republican only for Trump/MAGA.
I remember for a while that the Democrats were pushing the line that RFK Jr. would be stealing votes away from MAGA. It probably would've been true if all he talked about was dismantling the glownigger agencies a la Gunther Fehlinger but he decided to slip out a shitlib talking point and everybody started to dig into his past.
