No article yet as this just happened, but could be big. One of the largest bridges in the world according to Wikipedia.

This is precisely correct.

I assume most of the people here bitching in this topic would be on the fucking fainting couches at the stuff being posted within hours of 9/11 back in the day. Never mind that many of the people working at the WTC were exactly the kind of bughivers we'd actually want less of!
9/11 was great yeah, we killed a few thousand "bugpeople", surprisingly few Jewish CEOs, and got a surveillance state and a forever war in the Middle East. The more normie Americans that die in domestic tragedies the better!

I think people would be less upset if you wished that 6 CEOs were dead instead of 6 Joe Schmoes who were doing their shitass construction job in the middle of the night.
Lets be real here. If the only lives lost were six senators or corporate CEO's and their expensive escorts I can see this tragedy as being funny. Much like how the OceanGate tragedy was funny and ironic to many people as the only lives lost were members of the WEF. However, the lives lost here were six average Joes just doing their blue collar job. I reserve my schadenfreude to people who actually deserve it.

Null isn't making videos of people jumping off set to Tom Petty's free falling he's just being an unentertaining sourpuss saying he doesn't care and still staying in the thread. We heard ya, Null.

Nuking capitols is bad.....

The radioactivity prevents reclamation of valuable infrastructure by actual humans. It also taints the lizard meat.
I'd say a genetically engineered virus that eradicates human life within a certain radius would be the ticket, but then I remember that people within that distance of DC would be unaffected.

I know that a lot of people have enjoyed meme'ing on the crew due to them being pajeets but it seems like they did follow procedure for the situation. They were able to declare a Mayday the moment they lost power which allowed the local police to close up the bridge preventing civilians from getting killed. While it is awful that six construction workers lost their lives it also could have been much worse if the crew didn't know what to do in the situation. This was a freak accident. Sucks but it happens.
Wasn't there like six or seven cars that went into the water? Or were those the construction workers?

Readers added context they thought people might want to know: "This image is doctored, the individual in the photograph is comedian Sam Hyde, who is often the butt of fake hoaxes implicating him in major news events"

I think it was just the crew. So far the police and governor haven't said anything about if there were cars on the bridge. It looks like there wasn't if the only lives unaccounted for are the six presumed dead construction workers.

It is hilarious the leader of the most powerful nation of the world has to say it will move "heaven and earth" to repair a mere bridge, something usually done by local governments without much fuzz. Says a lot about the enormous institutional stagnation of the United States and its concealed economic issues.
