Phil is the most spiteful and egomaniacal little man that I've ever known. This retard continues to exaggerate problems in BG3, caused by his own stupidity, and refuses to learn, solely out of spite because he's still butthurt about the 'BG3 is game of the year' thing.

I think it's more ego than money, I might remember wrong but divinity 2 also got good money but he dropped it because he hated it. The only reason he's playing is because game of the year and his ego wants to shit on people, else he would play additional content for more money no?

Divinity 2 was making good money, but he had other games he was playing at the time that were also making good money so he felt safe to drop it because it was making him look stupid. Currently it seems like everything except BG3 is tanking hard so he doesn't have much of a choice. Ego is a factor too of course, Phil hates it when people point out that he has quit a game and always has to have an excuse to protect the ego, and he's so far into this game that he's going to stick it out no matter what at this point to avoid it joining the list of DSP ragequits.

Just skimming through his late stream tonight. He had single digit tips until the mid stream "bathroom break." Then, in completely organic and not at all coordinated fashion, he starts to get a drip feed of anonymous $10 and $25 tips every 15 minutes or so saying really dented shit, ending the night at $121 in tips and zero superchats. That's right, not a single superchat. Totally organic and normal for a popular streamer to get all of his money from literally one person for an entire stream.

So I was bored and I checked how Mr Variety streamer spend his 2024 streaming career so far. And what a variety it was!
Streetfighter 6 (a bit in January), Tekken 8 (a few streams until rage quit), Star Wars Battlefront (very shortlived), Sea of Stars, Yakuza, Baldurs Gate 3, Re Zero, Dragons Dogma 2, Palworld, FF VII rebirth, Silent Hill: The Short Message. Not exactly much variety now is there. And usually only BG3 brings in cash

Jesus Christ how does Phil even manage how to be so ignorant yet confident he knows how games work on a programmatic level and say games shouldn't have bugs but in the same breath state they have a million moving pieces.

I lowkey would love to see Phil try and code, not even C# but something entry level like javascript or python though he's almost guaranteed to ragequit because he fucks up installation and his scripts don't run.

That being said, I'm a fan of lolcow code reviews from yanderedev if else loops for hundreds of lines instead of a simple function or Snackie's github profile basically copy pasting three different code tutorials together so get to it phil

Remember that shitty horror movie with the stupid title "The Bye-Bye Man" and how it was jokingly called "The Pee-Pee Poo-Poo Man"? I can see Phil reading/hearing that and acking it up and making a bunch of fart noises, diarrhea "jokes", and just run it all into the ground like he does with some of his "jokes".

Phil is that guy who just doesn't understand what other people find funny. You know the one. Everybody is joking, maybe adding little things to other jokes, everyone is laughing then the Phil of the group chimes in and takes a shit on the entire mood. Being funny requires understanding other people in some way. Phil doesn't even understand himself.

Like the important part of that joke was that the tagline was something like "Say his name". So yeah it would literally be how Phil would take the joke, in that people are just saying pee pee poo poo man. And not the idea that you know, that is very funny contrast.

Which is just emblematic of Phil's sense of humor. Ironically tearing all jokes of context. Howard Stern isn't just allowed to make Nazi jokes because he is a jew. Its because he knows a few good ways to shit on Jewish people.
