This is what I asked as well. I can't think of a single person who has anything good to say about him after they left the show. Dave Landau I thought laid out the issues with Crowder pretty well, that Crowder definitely seems to have a screw loose.

That’s what gets me, the dude got asked to do and did all sorts of wild shit by a guy that openly said he’s intensive and hard to work with and he’s complaining the enviroment is toxic and frat like.

Well duh. That much was obvious. It feels like he was ok with it until he realised he could not make enough money or needed more.

Unless Crowder raped him with the potato…

He signed it after being threatened by Crowder's legal team (he mentions having to hire legal counsel just to negotiate his resignation) that he might be sued for violating something in his contract he signed when he was hired that could be construed as a non-compete, so Crowder was threatening legal action as a way of punishing Jared for not signing a forever NDA. Unfortunately for Jared, Crowder is a vindictive diva and decided to serve Jared and demand communications between him and his friends be ceased and preserved for discovery, probably because things about Crowder's behavior have been leaking out to the public and he suspects Jared might have told someone. Crowder's using an NDA signed under duress to engage in lawfare against someone he has hasn't worked with since-what? 2018?

Edit: also if Steven Crowder makes $500k+ a month, which I already feel like I'm lowballing, $25k on income/asset based alimony is not unreasonable. Is it more than any of us will ever see in our lives? Sure. But it's not some arbitrary number picked from throwing a dart at a board.

Having to get legal involved if you want to resign likely before your contract says you can is common.
As is checking over stuff just in case.And the other side disputing things.

Arsehole behavior? Yes. Standard practice? Yes. Threatening? No.

It feels like Jared wants it to be the frat house he complains about but only wants that when it benefits him.
 
I don’t see how whatever he has can do any more damage to Crowder than has already been done. An NDA wouldn’t cover objectively illegal behavior (like a rape or similar), so he’d just openly release that info if he had that receipt. So whatever he has isn’t likely anything worse than “he’s secretly gay, guys”, which everyone already knows.

Most likely Jared’s really wanting the NDA removed just so he can sell some embarrassing insider info/videos to CNN or whoever, to make some cash and irritate Crowder. I doubt it’ll really do much damage that wasn’t already done by the video of Crowder screaming at his pregnant wife. I’m sure whatever Jared has will be fun to annoy Crowder with, but not likely to really effect him.

Unless Jared sells the tapes to Shapiro. That would be a fun shitshow.

My understanding is that was the NDA "violation" that basically started all this, he's been talking to other ex-Crowder employees with similar experiences of dealing with Crowder's misconduct and subsequent legal harassment. Somehow Crowder got word of it and went after Jared. So now Crowder wants to see all the communication between all the people he's harassing so he can slap them with more legal penalties.

Not saying they're not bad, but NDA's are third-string to second-string Non-Competes and first-string "We own everything you do within x-years of leaving." Because some companies think if you make something truly unique within a certain time span of being with or even leaving the company, they think they have the right to what you do; which is blatant fucking theft. It's one thing to have Apple's "spend an hour for your own shit on our dime" because they could argue they're paying for innovation; but some places will outright claim they own your shit for x-number of years after leaving them. Even if what you did there had nothing in common with your own product. Some of the shit companies put on paper is disgusting.

As for Gay Jared, not sure about statute of limitations or anything, as it's been a while since he left, but NDA's don't cover malfeasance in the workplace. If he wanted to break the NDA, he just needed to find a decent lawyer, present evidence of mistreatment and other shit, and go to court. Not do this catty shit. Crowder's a multi-millionaire, there should be some decent lawyers who will see the possible pay day and do the work.

Watched the clip and most Q says is maybe Jared has a crush on Hillary or something because it’s weird for him to get involved in the divorce. So Jared seems weirdly prickly about this.

Imagine the real reason is Jared is a gossip hound and wanting to be involved with all ex-Crowder people because he thinks he’ll somehow take him down since everyone involved comes across as an overgrown child.
