I read some AMA once, maybe on plebbit, by some furry commission artist who was talking about veering into porn and how he made a ridiculous amount of money for fairly little effort, but slowly felt his soul ebbing away, and the material he had to draw got more and more disgusting, to the point he started to hate himself and even art itself.

Cubs (as in, furfaggotry that's explicitly intended to be underage, not just babyfurs who are adults *pretending* to be kids) would be my only hard limit, regardless of price (though I might still be tempted if it was REALLY high enough). There are a ton of easy ways to make money in the furry fandom from what I've seen, and rarely do you even have to draw. You can:

1) Upload a bunch of furry art and claim you are selling the rights to use the character(s) regardless if you drew them or not.
2) Offer paid sessions to hypnotize people.
3) Claim a relative/lover died in some natural disaster or some other news worthy circumstance with a high death toll and ask for donations.
4) Sell your character's virginity to the highest bidder and then buy artwork at a lower cost featuring the sex.
5) Fursuit cam whore? I'm sure someone is doing it!
6) Just take a fuckton of commissions claiming you'll draw ANYTHING and don't draw anything...ever!

I have a friend who is fairly decent at art and actually had to survive on mostly furry commission in-between jobs (Jesus, they pay a lot of weird shit). One day I asked him what was the weirdest thing someone in the furry community had asked him a commission for. He told me of this one guy who wanted him to draw a line of naked children being lead to some sort of factory where this guy's furry character was eating them whole. I am sure I scrubbed some details out from my memory, but my friend gave a big NOPE, refunded the guy, and stopped taking furry commissions for a while.

The highest prices I've seen are from artists who won't draw porn and fall on the quality side of the continuum I made. But if people do want to share their pervy ideas with one another, it helps to know a perverse demographic to cater to and stick to it.
