Somehow i feelt like Phil was projecting himself on the second part of the rant about Phil Spencer.

Im sorry but this ended up being a bit long!

"Sales people don't care about quality!"
The main thing that Phil tries to do is to sell his channel and it's content to the viewers, but what quality changes has he done to the channel?
None really, he talks about FPS and graphics, but that is just standard software updates and don't add really much to to his content, meanwhile as Phils continues to behave similar as to how he did 15+ years ago and it would have been identical if it wasn't for various streaming services ToS forcing him to do it.

"It is a AAAA game...", "Completly hands off", "All games are shit and have to lay off people to make a profit"
Phil has this habit of promoting any AAA game that he is going to play in the near future as the next big thing that you have to watch him play, everyone should be there and watch him play game X and Y!
What was it that Phil said about Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth? Oh that's right, "Game of the Year contender!" 2 streams into the game and then he just throw it to the curbe because he needed something that made him money.

"You are in charge and the people below gets punished", "If i make a bad decision and i do shitty things, i get punished"
Phil is in charge of his channel but continues to refuse to take responsibility for the things he does.
When ever Phil needs do something new it is always "We need to decide what to do", it is very rarely "I need to decide" or "I have decided", and when that fails it always becomes "This is your fault because you wanted this" and never "I made a bad decision". Phil blames his viewers and make them suffer for what should be his fault.

"Some of the dumb things he said"
Phil have said some dumb things as well, but refused accountability for them.

"You can't trusth the guy"
But Phil has always been honest about everything he said?

"He is not a leader", "When all fails, he is just smoke and mirror, makes up an excuse"
Phil is also not a leader, he begs his chat to solve things for him and hides when ever a bigger YTer comes looking for him for something he said or done.
When things fails on Phil channel he is very, very quick to divert attention away from himself onto his viewers, other streamers or his detractors and unload all the fault on them, even if none of them have anything with it to do.

"Why are they so far in this consol gen."
Why is Phil so far behind so many other streamers or content creators that started around the same time as him or shortly after?

"Can you think of a reason to have an XBOX besides game pass?", "If all games are on both consols, why would you not want PS5"
Can anyone thing of a reason to watch DSPGaming?
If other streamers plays the same games as DSP, why not watch it on their channels instead?

"Unless he can figure out a reason to own his consol, it will always be a down turn in sales", "It is his fault"
Phil, not anyone else, needs to figure out a reason for people to come and watch his stagnated streams or he will have to continue to beg for money daily.
It is Phil's fault, no one else's!

"He was in charge during the XBOX One era", "He is not doing the right choices"
Phil was around when monetizing game play started on YT, he was around when streaming started, but he feel behind quickly in both because he made some very bad choices.

"It is his fault since he dont know how to run the company"
The failure of DSPGaming is Phil's fault and no one else's, since he dont know how to run it.

"Think of XBOX to be the place to play all the good games, but it dont have to be a consol", "Then WTF is it?"
Phil used to have a channel solely dedicated to his vlogs and all none gaming related, now he dumps podcasts, reacts, Q&A and more, is it a gaming channel or WTF is it Phil?

"It blows my mind that these people are in charge"
But it is completely fine that he is in charge of a channel that one day is at the brink of bankruptcy and the next day "No, he never said such a thing, everything is fine!"?

"Lost confidence in the company"
Something people did in him and his channel a long time ago, but he refuses to see it.

"He such a inept idiot"
Phil, who have recorded and streamed for 15+ years, learned what a pause button is less than a month ago and behaves like he found out something revolutionary for recording streams.

"Makes excuses for everything", "Like a comedian"
When ever anything goes wrong with Phil's stream it is "I DID NOTHING WRONG!" and "It is not my fault!".
Phil tries to come of as comedian on his stream, but presents himself more as clown at kids party.

"Imagine if you are a shareholder of a company and the CEO said there is a down turn"
Imagine you are a viewer of Phil and he says there is a down turn for the channel, the next thing will be him expecting you to pump as much money as you can into his stream and all you get is a quick mentioning in return.

"This sounds like ship that is sinking"
Phils channel the last 15+ years.

"It is still stupid to say it", "Needs to be smart enough to leave things unsaid"
Like Phils Dead Space jew joke? Phils slave trade joke? Mentioning that he don't mind that Kirk is a racist, as long as he is quiet about it? Calling people mentally ill? Throwing former fraids under the bus?

"Phil spencer is not smart, he's dumb"
Projection!

"It pains me to hear people in charge of this industry say dumb shit"
But Phil can throw what ever he wants out there, he don't need to verify things first or back it up, he can just throw it out there and not feel any pain over it.

"He has no experience, no insight, no wisdom"
Phils main experience comes from going to arcades and play fighting games, he have never worked for a game developer and all his wisdom is based on how things used to be 15-20+ years ago since he refuses stay up to date with trends or read up on about things that happens, yet he still thinks that he is far more better to run a game or console developer company than their CEOs, he is better at designing and come up with stories for new games than the developers, he is better at selling companies, especially now during the internet age that requires much faster pace than when he grow up with paper magazine coming out once a month.

Phil thinks he is perfectly suited to be the voice of the ordinary gamer despite lacking completly social contact with other streamers, content creators and gamers, despite being forced to buy every new game that comes out to make a living unlike the ordinary gamer and despise avoiding a large number of games at release and staying away from trends and new tech until others have made it popular.

The only positive thing i can say about Phil is that he have a lot more experience than a lot of other people playing games, but it is not necessary a good thing.

Im sure a lot more can be added to this.

Philliam, I know it's in your nature to talk about things you have ZERO experience in, but Christ on a cracker...that whole rant was....I'm seriously laughing at the delusions of grandeur Phil is heavily projecting. That one line of him saying "I have a finance background", therefore, he knows better than Phil Spencer, ya know, some shumuck that's the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, yeah! He's a clown show. Phil Burnell knows what he's talking about, therefore, he knows more.
Forgot to mention he legitimately expected to get some high paying job right out of college due to his degree, despite the fact he didn't take on any internships, either ebcause they weren't paid ones or he believed that he didn't have time time. His official justification for not building his resume during college at all is that he had to work. Every college kid works during their time at college, yet they all have time for internships, student teaching, whatever their desired profession seeks.

Phil's always been a lazy fuck who wants to get paid just for breathing. No doubt in my mind Phil thought he was going to show off that finance degree to everyone around him and coast all the way to the top. Just look at how retarded his take on CEOs and investors are, he genuinely thinks they just sit there and rake in the dough instead of having meetings after meetings over how many retarded business decisions they can make.
Phil if he was marrying a woman: OH MAH GAHD DOOD THIS IS SO STOOPID!!! THIS IS FANSERVICE FOR LOSERS WITH NO LIFE, IM A MATURE ADULT DOOD!!!!

Phil marrying a man: (In his high pitched soy voice) ACK ACK ACK THE GAME CHOSE THIS?!?!?!?! ACK ACK ACK ACK*

DSP's birthday bash idea is the dumbest thing yet. Reacting to 13 year old videos from when he had struck metaphorical gold to prove he is a positive and thriving streamer. Just a peak at some of the videos he will possibly watch and explain away detractor memes.

Okay mature style people humor me for a second.

Lets say dsp gets employed by a company like Microsoft, how would you think he would fare?
The honest answer is the same one I've given before: trolls, his total lack of value to an employer, or his extensive public history would get him fired/never hired to begin with. Whatever company was so unfortunate as to hire Phil would last about a single day before everyone found out The Guy worked there. His co-workers/bosses/company's Twitter would constantly be getting sent clips of him being racist/gross/retarded. No business in the the US would consider him worth hiring based solely on the absolute shit hurricane that would follow him.

On top of all of that, he has zero job skills, he's lazy, unable to socialize, and probably a lot of other occupational negatives that I wouldn't know unless I actually met him in person. Even the lowest of low end service jobs wouldn't deal with him. He is stuck doing what he is doing until he dies.

The only way Phil could maintain a job now is if he's willing to work shit minimum wage jobs where he's not seen among the public like his fat wife did, and never tell anyone about it. He'd also have to not be his natural self which has gotten himself fired from every job in his life.

The best plan for Phil at this point is ride it out online as long as he can, and actually save money for once in his life... we know that's never happening, so it's all moot.

Let's assume for a moment that whatever job Phil applied to did no background check on him or saw his history and reputation on the internet. Phil, as far as I know, has only had two jobs in his entire life. The first was at Best Buy where he was fired for buying a bunch of PS3s and abusing his employee discount, and the second at "The Helicopter Company" which he only worked because he was protected by daddy and they kicked him aside the second his dad left, telling me he was definitely a nepo hire and probably completely useless.

Phil barely likes listening to his own fans, how do you think he acts when his boss would tell him something? He's been a hermit for so long that he's become incapable of understanding chains of command or taking orders from anyone because Phil's Phil and Phil's always right about everything and if you disagree, you're a stupid nudnik. So no, Phil's never getting a job. He'll be streaming even if it's just for OIC and Derich as he gets the same tips from one of OIC's sixty sock-puppet accounts until he eventually just dies on stream from cardiac arrest or something.

The wild part of it all is if he actually saved what he'd made in the past 15 or so years and actually managed his money/grew his channel, he'd be very well off right now.

The WPIG episode where they went through his Asian-style jokes and nearly every one was "Chicky Chang Wang Charlie Chang Pork Fried Rice" or some version of that shows he has no actual sense of humor.
Meanwhile he talks about himself like he's a fucking comedian. That's legitimately one of his more insufferable retcons.

Adding onto this, I think Phil is genuinely at a point where he's been a hermit too long to even handle basic networking, let alone face to face communication with his boss/other employees. Even if he applied for a remote position, if they wanted to do an interview over the phone or through Zoom or whatever, I don't know if Phil could handle it. He couldn't even handle making a few phone calls with a property management business to handle his condo for him, and that was a position where he was essentially coming at it from the "boss" position.

Lets say dsp gets employed by a company like Microsoft, how would you think he would fare?

Well realistically he doesn't show up. Hes got it so good where he is now (he makes around the base pay of an entry level software engineer at MS) and he's not been in a regular job for so long. Inertia and fear of the unknown rule his life. Imagine going from the demigod of your own pocket universe to putting on a tie to be bossed around by people younger than you. The shock alone could cause him to keel over.

If he's dragged kicking and screaming into the office he won't be able to do whatever job they have available. He wouldn't even be able to do a fast food job properly.

A job at Big Tech is very prestigious and from what I hear they hire either very experienced or if they go with new graduates its the cream of the crop. Sleepwalking through college let alone doing it 20 years ago as your only training isn't going to cut it. Even in the nontechnical roles.

Either he has to change his skin color and/or sex in order to land into one of the token affirmative action spots where you just need to post on social media or he'll twiddle his thumbs uselessly or make a mess out of things and eventually get fired.

Then the narrative will gradually transform from a mutual separation due to innocent issues he doesn't want to mention to him being fired for leading a crusade against the corrupt culture within the company.

Let's be real here: Phil will never get a "real" job. for one, despite all the "Give me money" begs he is still making good cash on Youtube. Yes his numbers are DYING
(his main channel has now solidly fallen below 500k views a month)
1711616251754.png

but his few whales are still propping him up. As long as they have the means and Phil doesn't piss them off (oh oh) he will keep doing the same thing. Of course we have seen especially this year that he is conditioning his dent base to support him in his reACK style content but from what I have seen those are still the same whales. If Argentina keeps bombing him (or another country should Argentina's economy stabilize) he will have to rely on them more and more. Hopefully that means he will have to play games he hates and show how dumb he is. Heck the BG 3 ending was probably his inner secret happy ending with him getting married to John (or T?)

@4:22 "PEOPLE INVEST IN COMPANIES FOR LONG TERM RESULTS" Business degree haver Phil says implying that people only do this. Does he not think that people day trade or trade based on how a company is doing at the moment? Also reminder that Phil has no stocks or investments outside of his cache of inflation proof sweaty wrestler jpegs.

Also he seems to think there's no situation in which a company should lay off employees, the CEO should just figure out how to make money. If I had to guess Phil is still bitter about his helicopter factory job and that obviously it was the dunce CEO's fault they let their star employee go.
Sloppy retelling but basically there's this Japanese streaming company, right? It's called Nijisanji because of a public shitstorm event over one of its bigger English streamers getting fired and likely hospitalized over an attempted suicide at the beginning of February, she was fired on the first iirc. There was also a public stream where three other streamers she worked with revealed information that was supposed to be between lawyers or legal parties, along with a released video that reiterated a tweet they put out where the CEO (who looked like he wanted a trip to Aokigahara) effectively said 'this streamer leaving will not affect our bottom line or our prospects'. All of this being public resulted in a JP streamer with a decent following eventually making his own stream and amping up the shitstorm in Japan, where the parent company ANYCOLOR gets investment.

The econ fags on the Japanese Yahoo financial board (Yahoo was if not still is the biggest search engine over there iirc) talking about either buying the inevitable dip or flat out saying that it is a horrible investment. Lo and behold, their stock price was dumpstered from ~3700 at Febuary 4th to ~3400 on February 6th, two days later before landing at 3040 on the 21st... And then cratering on the 14th of March from 3140 to 2596 and fluxuating between 2700 and 2500 to this day. It's gone further in the past a year ago, down to 2100, but that was after a peak of 6300.

Oh and an extra bit at the end for the 'laying off employees', this same company has a massive turnover rate like you wouldn't believe. Their competitor COVER's Hololive has what, 5 or 6 retirements, only 2 were firings? Shit always made waves. Meanwhile ANYCOLOR has something like 54, and the list didn't include the streamer I'm talking about so likely almost 60 at this point. GRANTED the retirements CAN be willing (a streamer I'm still mad I missed got a better opportunity in the real world for example, and smaller company streamers retiring characters and coming back as new ones is fairly common, at least when it comes to English streamers) quite a few were either whole branch layoffs or quitting due to neglecting their employees.
TL;DR of the above big Jap streaming company lost big streamer and their stock went to shit after it hit the company's home country, with said company having really bad turnover rate and basically coasting on brand recognition in their niche. This shitshow started this year and was trending on Twitter, the app DSP scrapes for opinions and topics to shit out on his podcast, just a month ago for several weeks. Phil, despite being a nigger who only thinks short term when talking about his channel and finances, thinks investment can ONLY be long term. I did not expect him to know the above happened, but it's a fresher example than the Gamestop pump-and-dump that he forgot about.
