Well, he decided in one of his podcast episodes to weigh in on the Hogwarts Legacy meltdowns and make the statement that "trans youth fighting to survive". Or something to that effect.

As for me, I cannot STAND Gugafoods. Like, Guga himself is likeable but the fakeness and sanitized nature of his shows feels so artificial. Its part of why I hate modern Youtube: it became like modern TV where nothing spicy or real can be shown, everything has to be clean and ad friendly.

Honestly 95% of cooking youtubers fall into this category of trying to be modern TV and all the trendy cancer that comes with it.
Also if I have to hear "Umami" or "MSG" one fucking more time I'm going to have an aneurysm.
Only cooking YouTuber I can stand is ANTI-CHEF. Doesn't waste time on bits and makes interesting and fairly relaxing content.

Which is something I myself have a huge issue with in general:
Any nicher subgenre inevitably gets overran with the hyper quick and ""witty"" zoomer type of content, loud as fuck music, "le epic" edits, etc.
Take fishing youtube for example. 95% of those fucks are loud and over the top appealing to the lowest common denominator and the ones that don't immediately do so usually sink down to that level soon enough (Fishing With Carl).
Again, only fishing youtuber I can stand is The Fish Locker, just a normal british guy taking his small boat to sea and fishing a bit. No over editing, no loud music, just him, his boat and the sea. Peak fishing kino.

Hes slid down my rankings for food youtubers. His stuff can be interesting but he should put more actual recipes out instead of these essays he does. I still stand beside many of the recipes he has made in the past but Lagerstrom and Sip & Feast are my gotos for new stuff now.

I really like Lagerstrom, too. Glen and Friends cooking is another good channel who shows how to make your own recipes by mastering different techniques.

I still use and modify Adam's recipes, but ever since he started his podcast I've stopped keeping up with him. I just want to learn how to make my lasagna better, not why black people in the south eat dirt. An actual video he's made.

For me, it's "dry-aged" or "wagyu". Heard those terms so many times, I'm almost fucking ready to become a vegan.

Kinda PL but I happen to have an acquaintance of mine who's an animator/storyboard artist and it's interesting seeing someone break down what does and doesn't work from a technical and narrative point of view.
