If this is true would it be possible to push to reopen the case? You seem very knowledgeable about biology and I myself am not and I appologise by my explanation is a reflection on my understanding on what I was relayed. I was told without cctv footage it’s a civil issue as she could and I quote from the police officer “she could just deny it and we won’t get anywhere, I’d suggest you contact your insureance to replace the window and install cctv. Give us a ring when we have tangible evidence”I can't quote the post, however that's not how toxicology works. There are very few substances that would leave zero trace and, contrary to popular belief, you can't just piss out all the evidence of poisoning in the space of a few hours -- at least not with the chemicals available in everyday use.
Anything that causes poisoning normally acts as an inhibitor to normal functions - such as nitrate stopping oxygen diffusing into the bloodstream, or toxins that stop or disrupt the normal electrochemical processes that allow for homeostasis. That also means that even if the chemical indicator isn't active in the bloodstream, there will still be physical evidence at a cellular and muscular level.
I've also never known any modern legal or healthcare system that wouldn't throw someone to investigation for heightened sugar and caffeine levels in a newborn -- that is still manslaughter/murder. Even if they didn't suspect intentional murder, that in itself would normally be enough to have a criminal investigation opened due to neglect.
Also bricks through your windows is a civil issue? lol okay.
Get back on your meds, op.
