Does that mean we will get the Dune Part 2 review?

Also, I will mention a few things that the RLM boys forgot to notice. First of all, people didn't notice the new Ghostbusters movie came out, because it wasn't marketed well, that and the first one came out still during the pandemic (again 2021) so it had good reviews because it was streaming and not in theaters, where as this one was in theaters, therefore lower ratings. Granted, Dune Part 1 came out during the pandemic, but that was a part 1 of a movie and it was originally going to be released last year until pushed back, hence why it is more acclaimed. And second, Back To The Future had been revived just not in movies form but it did have a cartoon series, a point and click video game that took place after the third movie and most recently a Broadway show. So yeah, it has been revived.
I don't think so. They have passion for the Ghostbusters, so they pick it. Jay is only interested in Dune because it's a David Lynch movie. As a movie, it's technically fine because of its cinematography, but has bland acting, glacial pacing, and terrible music. People that do recommend it have this tepid respect for it and I have a feeling RLM is ambivalent to giant budget studio movies in general, which is what Villeneuve's Dune is.

Yeah, the difference is Mike is focusing on Bill Murray and I would want to use him less so that the schedule can be slightly more predictable than not at all. That's why I suggested filming him when playing golf. It's cheap and lazy and mostly done to accommodate his whims, but he was going to play golf and dick around anyways. The OG cast can promote to the logical version of whatever characterization they said. Winston would be the CFO, so his thing is showing the board graphs and charts about quarterly earnings and how even with a worldwide franchise, they're still in the red, Ray can be head of R&D so that he has a reason to deliver exposition, and Venkman can be CEO that dicks around with board members. It also shoves them into supporting cast rather than leads as they really are too old to be ghostbusting.

I also didn't know this movie was coming out, nor the Planet of the Apes one either. They feel similar to me in the public conscious in that they have just enough audience to justify making sequels, but no one actually talks about them at all.
After thinking about it for five minutes how about this setup: After the first and second movie it became clear that maybe a pro-active approach would be valuable. The state(s) agree that it is a good idea so they get fat contracts to investigate if there's any more weird buildings, paintings or anything else. On top of that they create emergency routines for different possible scenarios. This means that they have to expand and hire lots more people including administrative people, HR and all that. At first they trained everyone, then the more senior employees were skilled enough to train the growing number of new employees while they oversaw and signed off on what was going on.
They're a big business in a field they have a deep interest in but soon they're all sitting at the top and act as overseers in different ways.

In the 2000's the states/government start scratching their heads because there's not been a single credible ghost sighting since 1989. They want to cut their spending on this. This would lead to layoffs and the original team cares about all their new Janine's and Winston's and they feel it's important that they get the money to continue doing what they're doing.
Their new mission becomes to lobby politicians, shake hands and set up meetings with powerful people just to keep things rolling. This makes them even more detached from what they were originally doing. Suddenly they're just running a corporation. Bill Murray playing golf with rich and connected people would make perfect sense in this scenario.

Let's say that last part happened in 2008 during the big financial crisis and the movie takes place in 2024, they've spent 16 years getting greasy with politicians and whoever else you can write in. Everyone except Ray. He found it disgusting and quit, so he set up his own operation that isn't doing very well because he relies on paid work and there's no ghosts anymore. He mostly gets hired by obviously crazy ladies and nutters. He believes them and takes the jobs but can never substantiate their claims.

No they'll just come up with different even more retarded theories.
@Neo-Nazi Rich Evans is actually rich evans, he’s come to goon real hard at your posts.

Patreon Update:

Hey everyone! We've got a handful of videos that are already shot/produced and in various stages of editing. The next thing being released will probably be Mike and Rich finally talking about that ancient TV show Andor. Remember Star Wars???? They finally watched the recent new Star War. In addition to that, Colin was in town and we shot a re:View for Predator 2 as well as watched the latest Neil Breen film Cade: The Tortured Crossing! In addition to those, we have another animated Spitballs video coming as well. Just need to do sound mixing and some minor editing to that one. Lots to work on!

I also bet since Colin was in town, that there also be a review of Dune Part 2. Seeing how he and Jay reviewed part 1.

That beginning with Mike having a Biden moment about the Somehow meme, I almost wondered if he was going to say he didn't watch Obi-Wan. But then his meds kicked in.

I did have a good laugh a good bit at the Anakin being a dictator on the first date to the lady all about democracy, Rich is at his best with those little asides.

I haven't followed anything Star Wars since Rise of Skywalker and knew next to nothing about Andor. I might actually watch it based on their Re:View.

I hope Rich is wrong about Luthen being a Jedi but knowing Disney he'll be yet another survivor of Order 66. I'm starting to think that the "66" in Order 66 is referring to the total number of Jedi the Empire supposedly killed.
The Jedi have been lying about the Great Jedi Purge with muh Order 66. They expect everyone to believe that hundreds of future seeing, super fast telekinetics with energy swords that can cut through anything and deflect blaster bolts were surprised by normal soldiers and shot to death everywhere in the galaxy all at the same time.

I got to say it's weird that they start with Rich point out that Star Wars is just a fairy tale with lasers and spaceships instead of magic (except for the Force and ghosts) only to than have the rest of the video being Mike praising Andor for being a dark serious spin on the series and thinking about the logistics of a galactic empire.
