Yes, but this tendency isn't exclusive to non-whites.
I also think the reason no one elects a leader who'd show the corpo-scum the rope is because these corpo-scum dump a fuck-ton of money on people in govt who'll specifically look the other way and run defense for their retarded shenanigans. Meanwhile, the people don't wake up till they're in a SHTF situation and at that point, it's just as easy for the paid-for politicos to distract and point someone/something for them to blame while the corpo-scum grab their briefcases full of money and run to the airport. These fucksticks are the leading drivers of cultural and economic degradation, and nobody wants to elect a leader that will draw and quarter them in the county square the moment they step a toe out of line. Why? Because we cant fucking stop talking about immigrants, camel jockeys in the middle east, and the rainbow brigade.
Didn't Costa Concordia have a Filipino helmsman who didn't speak English?Seriously. have you not heard of the Costa Concordia?
To be fair, Costa Concordia was commanded by an Italian who was ignoring the rules and trying to get his dick wet so the stereotypes still work.Costa Concordia
Something to add: I recently watched one of Brick Immortar's* videos on the loss of a fishing vessel, and one key point was that when power was lost, the controllable pitch propellers went into astern thrust (the main engines would continue to run as they had their own fuel pumps). If the 'Dali' had a similar setup then it's possible that the reverse was un-commanded, that when they restarted the main engine the CPP was already in reverse thrust due to loss of hydraulic pressureAn experienced Ships Engineer explains what it looks like to him. Some interesting info.
It's a cope right wing turds love to use "it's okay this white woman was raped by niggers, she lived in a blue state! She was probably a SJW libtard!"i695 Bridge isn't located inside of Baltimore City proper, and if you're a resident of the actual city's westside, chances are you're utilizing the i95 tunnel if you wish to head northeast towards Wilmington. And Glen Burnie (And the entirety of Ann Arundel County as a whole) has a populace that had 41% of it vote Republican, that's the county that is more likely to use it for local commute or those outside i695. It's the primary road utilized for truckers who are making their way from the West or South up towards the NE corridor of the United States.
And for any confusion: Baltimore county =/= Baltimore city (which is independent).
In fact, the areas where the bridge connects to both voted red in 2020.

Don't look at life through a cartoonish lens.
A bridge has never collapsed in thr history of America until now. The bridge has fallen = the west has fallen.Empire in decline.
Eastern Shore's largest crane to clean up collapsed Baltimore Key Bridge

BALTIMORE, Md. (7News) — The largest crane on the Eastern Shore will arrive in Baltimore, Maryland -- beginning a massive clean-up of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge on Friday.
The crane is expected to help dismantle the mangled metals of the bridge and reopen one of the nation's busiest ports.
This comes after federal officials approved $60 million in emergency relief funding.
Two days after the bridge fell into the Patapsco River after being rammed by a container ship, Governor Wes Moore and Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Widefeld requested a "quick release" of funding for the initial mobilization, operations, and debris recovery from local and federal responders. Hours later, the Biden-Harris Administration approved the request, calling it a down payment toward continued work.

"We are deeply grateful to President Biden, to Secretary Buttigieg, to our federal delegation and all of our federal partners," Moore said Thursday evening. "I am grateful for the way the administration has continued to lean in to support us."
Officials said more funding may be requested as the investigation and cleanup continues. As of Thursday, there is no clear timeline for when shipping travel will reopen or bridge repairs will be completed.
"This is an incredibly complex job and the timeline will be long," the governor said.
The 948-foot-long ship, DALI, remains at the port damaged. Crews from the U.S. Coast Guard, Maryland State Police and other agencies have switched efforts from recovering the missing bodies to salvaging what they can from the disaster.
On Wednesday, the remains of two workers were recovered following the bridge collapse, while two others were found alive shortly after. Authorities said they will continue to search for the bodies of the remaining missing individuals as they transition to cleanup efforts.
Officials will also prioritize reopening traffic to the port, as well as supporting those who have been affected by the loss of the bridge, including families, workers, businesses and first responders.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said a preliminary report will be released in two to four weeks.

I'm not sure where I read it, but I believe the Dali had a single classic fixed pitch propeller. And a pair of electric bow thrusters.Something to add: I recently watched one of Brick Immortar's* videos on the loss of a fishing vessel, and one key point was that when power was lost, the controllable pitch propellers went into astern thrust (the main engines would continue to run as they had their own fuel pumps). Odd that dropping the port anchor made the ship veer off to starboard.Pilot ordered the Dali to drop the port anchor
The Dali's emergency generator was likely responsible for the lights coming back on after the initial blackout, Diamond said.
“There was still some steerage left when they initially lost power,” he said. “We’ve been told the ship never recovered propulsion. The emergency generator is a diesel itself – so if you light off the generator, that’s also going to put off a puff of exhaust.”
Under maritime law, all foreign flagged vessels must be piloted into state ports by a state licensed pilot so the Dali's pilot is licensed by Association of Maryland Pilots.
Diamond described the incident based on information from the Maryland agency that licensed the pilot aboard the ship. His organization represents that group and all other state piloting agencies in the US.
“The pilot was directing navigation of the ship as it happened,” he said. “He asked the captain to get the engines back online. They weren’t able to do that, so the pilot took all the action he could. He tried to steer, to keep the ship in the channel. He also dropped the ship’s anchor to slow the ship and guide the direction.
“Neither one was enough. The ship never did regain its engine power.”
The public speculation over fuel on the Dali emerged after an exclusive report in The Wall Street Journal cited a U.S. Coast Guard briefing the newspaper reviewed that talked of the engines sputtering and a smell of burned fuel in the engine room. Observers noted the lights flickering on and off twice possibly as backup generators were started and became contaminated by the same fuel.
Speculation will continue fueled by unconfirmed reports that the ship might have been experiencing power problems while on dock. She was in Baltimore for nearly 60 hours. During an earlier briefing yesterday, the U.S. Coast Guard said the ship was performing routine engine maintenance while in Baltimore.
LOL at the inspectors using a thermal scanner on cold wreckage and a 4 gas analyzer outdoors so they'd look busy on camera.NTSB B-Roll, aboard the Dali:
I bet there were some vacuum forces on the starboard side that were greater than the resistance the anchor initially would provide.Odd that dropping the port anchor made the ship veer off to starboard.
They probably have the manifest on a tablet so they can just search the container number. Even if we are dealing with HAZMAT cargo, that should be placarded.LOL at the inspectors using a thermal scanner on cold wreckage and a 4 gas analyzer outdoors so they'd look busy on camera.
Seriously though. What a retarded photo op.
This is absolutely insane if this is true. A cargo ship of that size and tonnage going at that speed in a narrow bridge passage is utterly baffling without a tug attached for backup. Single screw with electrical issues for who knows how many weeks or months leading up to the 'accident' is also another sign that no one was bothering with safety as a single screw ship will wildly swing when you try to slam the brakes. If they ever fully reopen this port this will never be allowed again (well maybe it will again with the incompetence of the average person in charge here).01:24 - Ship was on a heading under way on a true heading of approx 141 degrees at a speed of 8 knots/9.2mph
