Phil's been latching onto the "DSP outlives insert famous person" lately and especially in these cope rants. He doesn't get that him begging his dents for tips isn't exactly envied by anyone and most of the people he "outlives" just retired from the internet to do other stuff.

Maybe Kat is starting to put the screws to Phil more to pony up more for her in the relationship than doordash. If Phil stopped WWE pulls for like two months he could easily pay for a vacation pretty much anywhere, even Japan like Kat wants if they stay in some of the cheaper hotels. Phil'd probably divorce her though before he gave it up though.

Actually on that, can't Kat get alimony now if they divorced? They've been married over four years and Phil clearly is bringing in more money than she is.

Ok looked that up, she could get like one year of alimony based on the length of their marriage. Which probably would still fuck Phil up since the amount would probably be more than he's spending on her right now.

I genuinely cannot think of anything more unappealing then watching Phil play an RPG. He already makes games that are action packed horrifically boring by playing them so slow. Watching him grind would be unwatchable. Like his streams are already unwatchable to begin with but the RPG ones are so bad not even his dents donate. That speaks volumes.

I think Kat would get A LOT of alimony. With them living in a heavy blue state and Phil having basically telling Kat "I'll provide for you" where she didn't continue her education and doesn't have a serious job, I think they'd award her a lot over a few years.

Phil's Yakuza love is an utter mystery. I believe his first game was Yakuza 4, which he mocked, rushed through and didn't care about the story at all. Then he played 5 right after and all the older games. He still doesn't care about the story, shits on the long dialogue, and notably sleeps during it.

Likely not, as the other posters have stated. They're old enough that they don't follow internet shit and Phil is as far away from them without leaving the country so they are fairly insulated from him. At most, they get a text or email once a week from him seething about the trolls fucking over his business and asking for some cash.

I have no idea what keeps prompting these rants, but they’re getting more and more frequent.

Midlife crisis. Started on his weird as fuck 40th birthday stream, then he kept getting spitroasted on Sidescrollers, then the word "Failure" in Turkey Tahm's documentary sealed the deal. He has completely fucking lost his mind now. I remember when I got back into detracting 4 years ago and the first thing I noticed is how unhinged he was getting but it wasn't anything too out of the ordinary compared to the last time I followed his antics (which was 2016). Phil now is completely unrecognizable to what he was just 3 years ago, he's completely lost the plot and is obsessed with his legacy and with how shit his life is now. That's why "meaningful" and "I'm happy" are two phrases he's said more often in the past 12 months than he has in the past 42 years.

Because they're easy games that even if you completely suck at the combat like he does you can just stock up on healing items and slug'n'chug your way to an easy victory. Plus the long cutscenes let him sneak a nap in every once in a while.
