I think people initially supported her because it was about "worker's rights" and people liked her voice acting but like you said, she got dropped by leftists because of her pro-life stance. She also got dropped by gamers who switched their support to the game developer because what she claimed was bad earnings/royalties were actually pretty good, considering the hours worked.
It takes a special kind of retard to be hated by all sides (leftists, gamers, game industry). I guess Helena was that retard.
Better to be quiet and make people think you're stupid, than speak and now people know you're stupid. She should have STFU.

I knew the terms from incel and mgtow, but I don't see how they apply here.
eg. The Wall. The Wall is when someone ages out of "looking good", but that's only a problem in certain situations. Like when a woman has lots of "consequence free" sex and drugs, and then it hits her like a truck all at once when her youth runs out, or when a woman has leaned on her youth to carry her through her life and can't handle it when they're no longer able rely on it. Usually both at once.
In the cases of SF2 man and Steller Blade, neither woman has hit "the wall" because they look after themselves and lead fulfilling lives, and as such aged much more gracefully. Even if you want to blame it on filters or being asian, they're a far cry from the complete fucking mess that these DEI women who've had 15 abortions and spend their days raging about white men on social media. Most of the initial support for her was because the lie she told was that she was offered like four grand for voicing the entire game, and not a penny more. It wasn't really a political thing; since everyone was pretty much in agreement that she was being treated like shit, and of course the majority believed her, because that would be so easy to disprove if it were a lie, so surely she wouldn't be dumb enough to be making it up! Whoops.
The bit about her eeeeevil right-of-center political views was just the cherry on top when everyone had already turned on her once the truth came out.

I didn't give much of a shit about her political views at the start of it, but when I found out she basically lied about the whole thing (on top of the director being a fucking prick), by that point I wiped my hands clean of the entire situation. BOTH of them were acting like complete retards over it, and I have little patience for it all.
She lied, he was being an asshole to people (who were basically asking him for confirmation of her allegations, yeah, sure there were a few trolls, but it was largely just people wanting to know)... The entire thing was fucking dumb, and I was over it and decided to avoid Bayonetta 3 altogether because of the fucking drama.

Let me save people 20+ minutes: larger companies are buying various media outlets, specifically sites like Kotaku, so they can bank on the brand name recognition while churning out heavily SEO-based AI-generated crap. Which might be a clever idea if this was 2012, which is about the last time sites like Kotaku still had any credibility or broad appeal.
As an aside, this shit is why I stopped watching Bellular News. That boring fat faggot will drone on for half an hour delivering a message that could be conveyed in a sentence, while making a wild ass claim without expanding on it and with zero evidence. In this video he claims that Bobby Kotick was going to buy Kotaku to keep them from accidentally doing real journalism. Instead of going into details about that, something actually interesting, he instead goes back to blandly reciting the same talking point everyone watching was already aware of, slightly rephrased, over and over.
I've never seen someone work so hard to bury the lede.
