the summer of George (flyd) proved republicans can't do shit if they really pushed
It proved nothing except that the “Republican Party” was fully captured by the uniparty and had no intent on doing anything to disturb the status quo. Now, at the very least, Trump has his people in charge of the RNC, so it’s not being actively sabotaged from the top on down. I doubt it’s enough on its own, but it’s an objective improvement over 4 years ago.

@Get the rope Macaulay!

>at this point trump just has to make it 10 months to win,

Not 10 months! It's seven months to Halloween and five more days after that to November 5. Time flies fast in 2024, we're no longer little kids in the days of Dubya (or Clinton, or whoever it was when whoever is reading this was a little kid), where a month passing actually feels like a month passing rather than feeling like a few days quickly sneaking by.

at the very least, Trump has his people in charge of the RNC,
the problem is trump has a terrible track record when it comes to picking people. beyond that 4 years from now means trump gets to play kingmaker and that won't be a good thing considering his terrible track record.

Not 10 months!
i don't trust anyone, especially whatever dipshit trump will pick to be his VP (most likely a black woman) congress could easily pull the rug out from under him. so until its Jan 20th its the democrats in power

terrible track record when it comes to picking people
the bad picks are almost all appointees (e.g. Cabinet members, Amy Coney Barrett) who had to be filtered by the Senate

When it comes to the new RNC picks: Michael Whatley has been a great North Carolina chair and Lara Trump is intent on instituting "counter-fortification" practices

The Uniparty WAS the Republican party back in the 80s. It really only became the Uniparty when the Clintons dragged the rest of the Dems on board and gave everyone against it the Howard Dean treatment. The big revelation is the extents that they would go to in order to keep the corporate oligarchy grift going.

Does the senate have power on telling the president on who to pick for cabinet?
If Trump wins again i doubt he's gonna be listening to those suckers, i think he'll just pick extreme loyalist and tell the uniparty to fuck off

I think many of you are overly optimistic

You think the elites care about iphones, jets and fancy cars?

Nah son it's all about the power.

To quote a famous philosopher:

"The kings, emperors and rajahs didn't need cars, computers or planes to lord it over the serfs. The were happy with power and wealth, what did it matter that your wealth could only get you a fine horse if everyone had to walk. What did it matter if your wealth could only buy bread when everyone else starves? It's always about having more then others, the fancy toys are mealiness in the face of moral superiority and the exercise of power over others."

It's not really about the total wealth, many of the elites dream of the day when mankind goes back to the fields with a hand-plow. Just as long as they have the oxen that's enough.

Wealth is always a measure of difference of power. If it wasn't the elites would be busy trying to raise the level for everyone so they get more as well but instead they're busy grabbing as much as they can in so far as long as no one else can have it instead. Better to return to the days of serfdom. You don't need iPhones to drink your brains away with bejewelled goblets and fatten on rich beef as long as everyone else has nothing more then water and stale bread.

Theoretically presidents can appoint during recess of the senate.
This is how I knew the "GOP" senate were TRAITORS.
Mitch kept the senate in pro-forma session the entirety of Trump's term to prevent him appointing during recess.

to be fair, this can mostly be blamed on Kushner and Trump trying to return favors for Sheldon Adelson (that's how we ended up with Bolton)
Skip mostly to "Almost entirely". Kushner and Ivanka were snakes who were in the pocket of the Uniparty and were instrumental to a lot of Trump's biggest stumbles. Dodge cabinet picks? Check. Actively harming relations with Trump's personal picks? Check. Encouraging belief in people like Fauci? Check.

Trump trusted Ivanka and in turn trusted Kushner. The fact they have been rather publically kept off the new campaign says Trump realizes that they sabotaged him. Frankly, I'd not be surprised if we found out after he dies that Ivanka was given a single dollar in his will.

I disagree because it's clear it's not just about power for the global elite. For instance, Yuval Noah Harari is a transhumanist philosopher who wants to live forever, and is basically Klaus Schwab's right-hand man--frequent WEF attendee. Nick Bostrom, a scientist who has contributed a lot to the simulation hypothesis and the idea we can live forever inside a computer, attended a Bilderberg meeting one year. They don't need any more power, because they already have it. They can abduct your kids and rape them if they so feel like and literally shit on attractive women, and even their failsons like Hunter Biden can get away with all sorts of crime.

It seems what they want is to hold that sort of power forever and become immortal posthumans. They probably want us to be immortal too, albeit a shittier, lower quality class of it (mandatory subscriptions to Pharma for life) so they can delight in watching their inferiors (us) as we fight over who gets the last sip of cockroach milk. They want a class of people they can kick around forever. Never underestimate their depravity.

Sure, they already have enough money and power that they could easily live the rest of their lives completely isolated from consequences, doing all the drugs and eating all the child whores they want in their yachts and mansions. Despite having more luxury and choice than anyone before in human history, literally more than they could ever experience or waste within their lifetimes, they want more and they are willing to 'reset' society to get it.

These are the people who tried to make lockdowns and jab-mandates not only permanent but federally enforceable. These are people who genuinely think they can somehow crash this plane in just the right fashion that the result will be neo-feudalism rather than the Schwarzschild radius of a political singularity as america collapses.

Exactly. The point to simply repress the backlash long enough that by the time it comes the destabilization of society is at the point where they can simply change all the rules and 'lock in' power. It just has to last long enough for the "Great Reset" or the "Techno-panopticon Robot Army" or the "Genetically Modified Niggercattle" phase to begin, at which point the active suppression is no longer required. Or so they believe. It's insanity, I know.

The amount of hubris it takes to wish for these types of plans boggles the mind. They want to destroy the most stable, prosperous and peaceful system in the history of mankind for the chance to rebuild it in a way that benefits them even more. The sheer arrogance to believe that they would survive the chaos, much less be in a position to rebuild society in their vision is borderline insanity. The entitlement they feel to justify the suffering of billions for their own sake is inhuman. For the people that aren't billionaires but somehow support this, there is no question, they are lost in complete lunacy.

She will get her 30 pieces of silver

Won't, not can't. The Republicans saw the Floyd riots as a chance to box in Trump and make him look weak and signaled to him that if he did anything, they'd join the Democrats in any resulting impeachment proceeding. If this were WWII, the Republicans would be some one-star alerting the Germans to the Normandy invasion ahead of time, reasoning that making Eisenhower look bad would increase his own chance of getting promoted to the top job.

the lack of initiative inherent in conservative values means they're losers and would get their asses kicked in another civil war, especially because they're retarded enough to think the president would go on tv and go "i declare war" instead of it happening covertly until it was too late like every civil war of the last century plus.

Conservatives think that when "SHTF," they'll be given prior notice so they can put together makeshift bunkers and stack their Gucci AR-15s so they can go down in a hail of gunfire.

Reply bug, but responding to @Save the Loli :

That ties in with a theory I've held for a while now. It's not envy that drives these 'elites', it's the absolute outrage that Joe Normal can get 90 percent of the same things they can. So they feel a little less special.

These are the same kind of people who would institute sumptuary laws if you gave them the chance.

its actually insane how bad it is in canada, i'm surprised i'm not seeing/hearing more about white Canadians trying to flee the country. like the canada subreddit the past year or so has been near pol tier based because of how bad indians have fucked shit up. everyone openly admits college degrees are worthless there now and a handful of universities too.
The Canadians won't flee because they think they'll get shanked if they cross the border and think they're better off around Indians than Mexicans. I've literally seen them say "you guys are just as bad as us and they'll deport us because we're white" which I seriously doubt tbh.
