Mega Rad Gun Thread

CZ hasn't made 97s in years.
CZ Custom is not CZ USA, it's a shop in Arizona that does customized work on CZ pistols and other things. that being said, it is a custom pistol so expect bespoke prices. an older T95, converting a large frame CZ-75, like a Jericho 941 in .45 or a Tangfolio Witness in .45 or Baby Eagle in .45. these frame sizes, CZ-97 parts (which you'll need to source), an some fitting and a fitted guide rod should work. Bar-Sto still makes parts for 10mm conversions, and finding a CZ-97 shouldn't be too hard if you want to start with an original.

Ok, on a scale of based retard you keep going king to god damn basso you put that scotch down you're embarssing us all.

So working on the wheel guns today... I came up with a crazy idea. Like be seated because you'll pass out from either an overload of awesome, or cringe.

machine down the cylinder, so it's got 2 rounds, for reference think a 12 o clock and 6 o clock it's now no wider than the gun itself, figure some way to make it spin so you get this crazy thin 2 shot 38 slp belly gun sin thing... instead of one that I planned on doing a fitz special job, you'd have sorta a derringer thing sin. I don't even know if I'm explaining my idea or I need to get drunker and fire up MS paint so you can really laugh at me.

Maliwan builds those, they suck even with the bonus elemental damage. But it'd be cool as a one-off.

I like that it sorta looks like the oldschool FN Five-Seven, especially considering that FN made the Five-Seven ugly as fuck with the 3rd gen model.

CZ Custom shop 97BD in 10mm
Huh. Guess I know something I'll splurge on if I should ever win the lottery.
I always liked the look of the CZ97, so the thought of having one in higher capacity and higher power really tickles my taint.

How many rounds of centimeter could you fit in that grip? 12 or maybe 13 if you used an extended basepad?
The alternate approach, which would probably be easier, relatively speaking, would be a .45 Super conversion.

CZ Custom shop 97BD in 10mm is really the only option outside of finding an older T95.

Tanfoglio contracts Mec-Gar for a lot of magazines, and they should have something that will work. Tanfoglio, EAA, and IFG are all labels for the same gun under different importers.
My Shadow 2 mags are Mec-Gar, they came with the gun and iirc all new CZ's have Mec-Gar. Mine would go in but not catch, so I'm hunting around for different ones, I ordered a Tanfoglio small frame mag off ebay for $20 so I'll see how that works

Small update for those of you following the flintlock conversion of the old rifle. It has finally gotten here.
Happy to report that it is in better condition that the pics could show.
Sad to report, it is in fact just a .50 smoothbore. No hi-tech sniper rifle for me. But I will be continuing to convert it to flint, will post updates as the come along. Currently working on de-rusting the barrel, and treating the wood and trigger mechanism. Then, shining up the pretty brass and steel filigree. the moving onto plugging the old percussion cap hole, then finally drilling and tapping, setting up the actual flintlock, and will post some videos of the first firing. Will be setting it up on a bench with a pull string for it's first shot, just in case. I have no reason to suspect, given the thickness and general health of the barrel, that it will just dynamite. But my Ol Man used to tell me I could break an iron anvil with a rubber hammer, so we'll see.

I will give some kiwis here my actual secret base. Greg Cote LLC. Best place I have ever found for specialty beretta and cz mags, as well as a ton of others. Fair pricing, it is one dude and his family running the shop so he will always respond to any questions or whatever. Don't want to leave any oopsies here for him, but I will say, when the east coast was starting up all their high cap mag bans, he was able to work something out with one of my buddies and make him happy. I've never gotten a bad mag, and he's got an amazing selection. Just try to keep your orders small and be respectful, I like the dude and don't want some enterprising reseller faggot that stumbles across this thread to buy all his mags out. He's got awesome pricing, just pick up what you need and let another kiwi here get the mags they need.

I'll see what works in my gun and order a couple. Appreciate it

I really dislike the FN platform he's using for a lot of reasons, but .460 Rowland itches my autism in the right way. Or the wrong way, depending on how I look at it.

I've seen some Glocks and 1911s chambered for it, although I never really looked into them very deeply. But thinking on it now, if I had my druthers (& a decent shop), I'd be more into converting a .45 PCC into .460 Rowland somehow; that'd be pretty tits.
:woo:

The most I got from that is Buffalo Bore is not so good and Underwood is not so bad.

I love selling on it, got 1,000 for a generic chink SKS on there lmao.

I buy on guns international.
You absolute fucking tyrant. For this transgression, you'll have to sell me a generic chink sks for $400. I've always wanted to own a commie caliber gun, but everyone wants to sell theirs for retard prices.
