@30+GameOvers,
@LightDragonman1, and
@ZMOT; I agree with all three of you. The devs behind CoD really need to stop screwing around with this "boots on the ground/Fortnite hybrid" shit and make some actual, proper sequels to Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and Infinite Warfare.
I actually still have a copy of Ghosts on my PS5, and the game itself is still pretty fun; sure, multiplayer is a bit dead these days, but the campaign ended on a MASSIVE cliffhanger, the multiplayer itself was fairly interesting, Extinction was awesome - especially when it got some updates behind it - and the idea of a stealth-focused post-apocalyptic CoD could actually be pretty interesting these days. Helps that the intel in-game provided a solid enough backstory to the game.
Same with IW; again, the multiplayer is pretty dead these days, but the campaign was awesome, multiplayer was something new, and Zombies - while not perfect - was still an interesting experiment that I hope we eventually get a proper conclusion to. Seriously, the IW Zombies mode had a fairly solid, if cheesy, story going for it that really should get a proper conclusion/continuation, and the campaign also needs one; I want to see the end of the war with the SDF, alright?
AW... can't really speak for this one currently, as I haven't touched this one on my PS3 in ages, but I do think the Exo movement was a neat idea. Again, campaign needs a proper conclusion - genuinely interested in seeing a proper conclusion to the Atlas Corporation story - multiplayer was solid despite needing some balancing (MORS, Bal-27, ASM1), and the Exo Zombies was a neat little idea. Why the devs haven't followed up on this one is beyond stupid; seriously, stop listening to the faggot influencers and enough with the MW/Black Ops shit, I'd love to have something different.
They've taken the most popular game series in history and ruined it with gay bullshit.
Yeah, the recent CoD games are honestly all just failures. Admittedly, I am having some slight fun with MWIII, though I'm very much a casual player with a high tolerance for bullshit and a friend to suffer with; even then, MWIII is pushing my limits at points. There are some genuinely interesting ideas here that could be really good if the devs would've bothered to actually develop them, but instead the game is going on a downward trend, because Activision cares more about pandering than developing. Damn shame.
