That's the good part, they don't need to! There have been plenty of good action shots of the author posted in places over the years and I'd gladly give them the rights to use the ones I have for use as covers.

Don't know about you but if a book had any of these covers I'd have to pretty much buy it. None of that cover removed either for me, those are important.

He constantly parrots that the first movie was written as a "trans allegory" but I don't buy that. Yes one of the "sisters" has said that in recent years but absolutely nobody thought of it like that when it came out. The Wachowskis also lied about it always being intended as a trilogy when the first sequels came out so I don't see why they wouldn't retrofit the trans narrative years later.

i believe that the other side to this situation is that in america it is generally much easier for any random guy to file a lawsuit than in most other ocuntries, US courts seem to be a lot more permissive with what kind of suits they allow to proceed.
qualified immunity is their way to avoid having the courts and police departments bogged down by endless retard lawsuit filed by petty criminals who complain about the handcuffs leaving a bruise on their wrist or shit like that.
