Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

Unironically, if they did that, they would immortalise her.

I'll sound like I'm simping for her here, but seriously, when all this gender shit blows over - and it WILL blow over, I am increasingly convinced the pendulum is already swinging back to normality - if they arrest her, J.K. Rowling would go down in history, not just as a best selling children's author, but as a feminist hero who stood up for women's rights in the face of pressure from a tyrannical government trying to gaslight its citizens into thinking that 2 + 2 = fish.

She has unironically been one of the few female public figures to consistently act like an actual fucking feminist throughout this whole thing. Give it a few decades and they'll be putting her on banknotes and building statues of her and pretending they were 100% on side with her and what she believed the whole time.
You are so optimistic and naive about this it’s admirable.

Every time something left wing has come up, the members of the United Kingdom have made the choice that shows they are true believers of progressive ideology and they’ll go down with the ship, their only concern being that their ideological opponents can have some kind of “win” to go along with the bad PR and blow to their image that’d come with aggressively going after anything that could contradict their idealistic views of a progressive utopia where they live, constantly pushed by someone who refuses to shut up about it, so something is done to get these people off their back.

It happened with rape gangs in various British cities. JK Rowling is making a fuss now that a new hate speech law (or whatever the official name is) has become a thing. And now you could make a cycle chart about it.

Absolute queen. Of course she's hoping to be arrested, seeing the violation of the law she purposefully brought with her tweets. And probably they should arrest her, because the troons will riot and because if they let her go with a slap on the wrist it will look bad for the government, people will think once more that the rich and famous can do whatever without consequences.

She will be reported left and right, so they have to decide what to do:
- finding excuses to not incriminate her and that's bad optics, or;
- admitting that the law as it is (even conversations in the privacy of somebody's home can be reported) is not feasible, or;
- incriminating her risking, since she is richer than God and can afford the best lawyers, to be stuck into a long, PR-disastrous trial she has a chance to win, setting a legal precedent that would make the law basically useless. I can see her creating a fund to help women in her same situation, too, since she was also pissed off because the law hadn't any kind of protection for women.
Oh, my sweet summer child... I smell a defamation trial for you. From what we know, Mridul Wadhva is not a sex offender.

What "purported holiday"? Unlike all the terminally online Twitter addicts who always need to announce it when they "log off Twitter" for whatever reason (and usually are unable to stay away from for longer than a couple of hours), she never announced a "holiday". She simply did other stuff, probably didn't waste a thought on online drama, and then came back to address this new ridiculous law. (Though I assume she planned to post this a long time ago.) They are always projecting so hard.

A few fun reactions.

You have to take the stealing his sister's panties in context of course:

If only Willyboy could be martyred! This movement really longs for martyrs.

Look at this hysterical woman constantly not shutting up when we tell her to! Her legacy never stops being destroyed. It was fully destroyed years ago and is like now one million percent destroyed. [Edit: this last guy is from The Canary - if you know you know]

Absolutely. He is a man who preys psychologically on existing rape victims which is not the same.

I hope they can settle things with broken bottles amicably though.
Sure. But, from what we know, he hadn't been accused, or convicted. Good old Jonathan being like "Hah! Sex offenders, all of them, except me" could be seen as defamation. I would see it as defamation. I mean, seriously, Jonathan? Even Munroe Begford?

Did JKR forget how indoctrinated and backwards bong policemen are? She will get arrested one of these days. They are dumb enough to do it.
She’s betting on it but it gives me the willies. Even if she’s accompanied by a lawyer, that’s not a guarantee of physical safety.

For context, UK Twitter this morning even before JKR got to it was full of (mostly) women saying Trans Women are Men. Full Spartacus effect.

People are calling me naive and overly optimistic, and maybe I am, but I genuinely think we're seeing the end of this now. First Joe Biden is Weekend-At-Bernie'd into declaring Easter Sunday the new Trans Day of Visibility, now this ridiculous new hate crime legislation in Scotland, I think they've pushed their luck too far and too quickly.

I think the general population is very much against this sort of shit now. The paedophile elites aren't, obviously, so they'll keep trying, but since Rishi Sunak - a man who I quite rightly despise - came out and said that trans women are men and Keir Starmer is now distancing himself from this whole thing - arguably too little, too late after the embarrassing 'some women can have penises' thing in the past - I think the fact that this is becoming a political talking point that cannot be avoided and the whole 'trans' issue is too toxic a thing to be associated with now.
