That is a far more respectable and understandable course of action on her part despite being a great deal more "wrong" than anything Ed Piskor was accused of doing.

Maybe I'm an insensitive, misogynist prick (I am) but I really can't seem to interpret the motive behind Molly Dwyer's accusations as anything other than attention seeking behavior with a large side of "fuck this guy's whole career". She went out of her way to say that PIskor was never overtly lewd with her, never sent or requested nudes, or any of the shit Warren Ellis got up to.
So, what was the point? Did she want him to take a fucking sensitivity class? Have a YouTube struggle session in her name? If she wasn't assaulted and this wasn't a legal matter, what was her intent in posting those messages if it wasn't to fuck up Ed Piskor's livelihood? I wanted to believe this wasn't for clout or just for shits and giggles, but I haven't read anything about this entire situation that would lead me to think otherwise.

The point is the fame game. He was a respected professional in his chosen field, they were not. They turned themselves into thirst traps to see what they could get out of him financially and ego-wise. He being a true beta would always go for the bait even if it was easily trackable, he being a developing pedo would begin to groom the unripe knowingly. Once one or both sides used each other up, the beta pre-pedo is extremely vulnerable to the whims of a spurned or merely insecure female. He also being godless, had no stock beyond the mid-level notoriety and the money it brought him which was actively being stripped of him His pride would not allow him the arduous, humiliating, slow crawl back to somewhere far lower that what he had imagined for himself only a few days prior.

No tools to cope and no willingness to question his worldview, it was better to ensure everyone involved would be directly hit by his sudoku. The love of those around him were only good enough for one last imagined huff of narcissistic supplied self-pity. If Rob Lowe came back from taping himself with teenage girls in the 80s and Kevin Costner can come back after Waterworld, Ed could have made it back in some liviable fashion. He just didn't want to.

Literally works for a PR firm (Firebell by Weber Shandwick) who is called in to blunt consumer movements and scandals being talked about on social media by trolling people to waste people's time / distract / get people banned / smear them with alt-right troll accusations / etc. Cointelpro shit, only for the corpo world.

A couple of posts on this page: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/comicsgate.38138/page-2340 seems to cover most of the information about the story. The most damning pieces I can gather is that he was being kinda creepy with his language to a a 17 year old girl (calling her naughty or nerdy girl) and he allegedly asked another girl for a blow job in exchange for contacts in the industry.

Even the worst interpretation of the accusations make him look like a mildly creepy loner than any kind of horrid sex pest.

So she's with EVS? Osterios was part of Weber Shandwick and very close with Dax until Dax failed to pay him for some lolsuit. EVS is Dax's butt buddy against July.
