Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

So she's with EVS? Osterios was part of Weber Shandwick and very close with Dax until Dax failed to pay him for some lolsuit. EVS is Dax's butt buddy against July.
No. One of the first things they tried to do was make EVS the "leader of comicsgate" so they could break the movement over using him as a wedge issue. They tried to do the same thing with GamerGate, only they tried to use Ethan Ralph. If they could get EVS banned or metoo'd they absolutely would. He was blacklisted from the industry and refused to have the common descency to hid in a corner somewhere for a few years and then kill himself. (Ed's major faux-pas was not waiting long enough that he would be forgotten and giving them plausible deniability.)

I don't know about Osterios. But the other big name Weber Shandwick goon? Kwanzer. Kwanza Osajyefo, who was high up in the company, IIRC. The useless worthless black semi-indy comics creator that was getting a strange push back in the early Comicsgate era. Looking back I suspect that might have been some kind of op to "offer alternatives" to CG affiliated Indy comics on crowdfunding sites. Maybe?

you dumb mother fuckers still can't figure this shit out. I am the leader of Comicsgate, as long as I ship my books USPS over FedEx, I am uncontested in on time cat books you pay pig mother fuckers.

(Spills Ruffles on the floor).
Wait! wait ..... wait ......

He also did Wizzywig, a graphic novel about a kid that becomes a famed hacker in the early 90's.
That's where I first heard of him. I used to listen to the FM radio show 'Off the Hook' which has been on the air for a million years and is hosted by the editor of the '2600' hacker magazine. The station is publicly funded and some years back their show offered Wizzywig as a perk for donating and I think they had him on as a guest to promote it. Over time, the show itself got to be pretty hard to listen to as they became establishment bootlickers for the left, even all but turning against Assange who at the time was just a minute ago their friend and hero and was scheduled to appear at their conference. But he made the democrats look bad and they couldn't have that.

Edited to add:
I found at least one of the relevant episodes. February 3rd 2010.
It's a fundraising show, it's the 50th anniversary of the station this year, Wikileaks is shutting down temporarily, what Wikileaks is all about, a new study shows no real effect on car safety after handheld phone bans, how chili was the culprit that caused a truck to crash into a house, fingerprint scanning in a church in Poland, there are now brand new "Off The Hook" t-shirts, Rob describes his work in designing the new shirts, Ed Piskor has an update on the graphic novel "Wizzywig" series, how the story ties into the Kevin Mitnick saga, former WBAI comic book show host Ken Gale joins the discussion and gives his impressions of "Wizzywig," the switchboard gets overwhelmed, the detail to attention in Ed's book, the possibility of the book being used as a tool for crime, people to thank. This show includes fundraising.

can someone explain to me exactly what this dude that constitutes him being a sex pest? as far as i can see even the victim said there was no pestering for sex, no asking for nudes, no actual victimization. if i am wrong i would appreciate being corrected
That covers the accusation that got the ball rolling. Molly Dwyer was the first of three women to accuse him of "misconduct", if that's what we're calling it.

A second woman (Molly Wright ) accused Piskor of offering to give her his agent's number in exchange for a blowjob and that he propositioned her for an "open relationship". In his suicide note, he denies this event ever happened though did admit he and Wright had sex twice and that she initiated both encounters. He expressed a great deal of anger towards Molly Wright in his note, saying that "her actions border criminal".

The third contestant was Taffeta Darling, who is, according to her Twitch bio, a "Comics Art Specialist & Cosplayer streaming variety content".
She claimed that Piskor once offered to introduce her to "bigger industry folk" if she would let him draw her nude.
Not to fuck her, not to get her drunk, not to watch her pee, just to draw her naked form.
In what was likely a rare and final W for Ed, he stuck to his principles even unto death, telling "Big Titty Taff" (lol)
"I would draw you naked all day and never apologize for wanting to"
Don't know where Ed would get the idea that "Taffeta Darling" would leverage a look at her melons to meet industry folk, seems like a reach to me.

But, no. You aren't wrong. There wasn't any actual victimization in any of these scenarios.

Oh good, it's good to know that Goldstein et al did the same value betrayal all the other Defcon Attenders in my circles did.

No it's actually not, but hey. It's consistent.

Can someone give me a quick rundown down on who exactly this guy is and why I should care he killed himself after being exposed for trying to fuck a child?
Have you considered actually reading some of the previous posts in the thread? You may find it informative and may help improve your startlingly inadequate comprehension and observation skills.

From what EVS said, Piskor hated him because of Comicsgate, which makes frogman’s attempts to turn this cancellation all about him more repulsive if darkly hilarious.
YaboyZack has like five community posts about Ed Piskor. But in his defense, he has always been a fan of Ed’s work.

And he blames these two for Ed’s death.

If I recall Ya Boi Zack's videos about her, Alex De Campi runs the whisper network that polices Marvel/DC/etc of any wrongthink. She's a literal capital S Sociopath. She's BARELY in comics, but her entire career, hell, her entire reason for being, is being a catty mean girl and ruining people's lives to make herself feel better. If she fell over dead tomorrow the industry would immediately start to improve.

Ramon IIRC was canceled/blacklisted on the down low for allegedly being a beig enough sex pest that even the lefties in comics couldn't put up with him. He's been trying to mean-girl his way back into everyone's good graces. He recently came out of his cave to attack that comic book shop owner that went viral a few months back, for example.

This WILL be removed. I imagine I just lucked out and loaded the page in the 5 minutes it's up.

He has deleted three of them before I could archive, but after I loaded the page, so here's the screenshots at least:

Edit: Man is awake and posting more community posts, this time about Ramon Villalobos. I hope the video that he is holding in until after Ed's funeral ends up over an hour long.

Well, that sucks. Ed added me on MySpace back when that was a thing and as a budding comic artist at 17/18 I was chuffed that someone who worked with Harvey Pekar took any notice of me. The majority of my interactions with him were comments on each other's art. Nothing inappropriate, but I didn't post thirst traps like the chick who #metoo'd him apparently did.

Just based on the last few years it seems like he had absolutely nothing in his life except art, and if that's all he had I'm not surprised he killed himself.

Poor Malin. So many EJ fans and people we attacked won't come to our aid!

The Comicsgate King cries out in pain as he strikes you.

I would not have sex with tattoo girl. Any pics of the other two? Sim e they are legal over here in civilised Europe I'm wondering if they’re worth losing a career over.

Why does it seem like everyone on the internet has either borderline or narcissistic personality disorder nowadays? It has to have something to do with how social media works, right? That it either somehow amplifies these traits, or causes low level trauma in adolescents?? Everyone involved in this story, yet again, is a deeply disturbed person.
