More likely the former than the latter. The US Military is simply too erratic of a customer to rely on as a sole buyer for these - You'll have 2-3 years of huge, off the wall orders as they fill the warehouses, then "No thanks" trickle token orders for minimal use as they horde it all and try to cost control. You need a civilian market for the dry periods when the bean counters are worried about the riflemen using 2 mags instead of 1 for qualifications, there's savings in that brass and by god they're gonna get it, even if you gotta train by shouting "BANG" instead.
Unfortunately the U.S. gun industry along with the foreign gun and ammunition makers will gladly cut all sales to the U.S. domestic markets for those coveted military, law enforcement and government contracts. Even after seeing how that fucked Colt and foreign counterparts when their only customer(s) wanted to play with and buy someone else's toys.

So, was wondering how they'd deal with everyone refusing to join up with the new DEI enhanced Military.

They're just gonna call retired people back for one more go.

I mean, boots on the ground in Ukraine or Gaza would be the perfect solution to everything. Gives them a reset button, of sorts, to the economy. Lets them give an excuse as to why Biden has to stick around. A weapon to attack anyone critical of the regieme.

Jimmy Dore recently has embraced guns lol in one of his specials.

Imagine being such a cuckold that a hardcore leftist has moved more right and doesn't mind losing frens to defend Trump out of principle.
dont think jimmy isnt saving his own career. He's seen what the progressive left does to not sufficiently leftist enough comedians.

Considering today's date, this is like a late twisted April Fools' joke that is 100% serious.

Because this will generate the sort of high morale and force loyalty you want, especially in a situation of increasing domestic tension and public distaste for wider geopolitical action. Its definitely not a problem to take someone who got out, realized how shit the latter half the deal was, and then bring them back in with some seniority and authority to try and run the ship for you. There's no way that their negative attitudes and sentiment towards command won't trickle down into the existing rank and file, and there's definitely no chance that it will influence their willingness to blindly follow orders. You definitely won't see a spike of awareness about just how thoroughly they're willing to fuck the rank and file for doing their jobs.

He might also think they aren’t practicing what they preach.

It turns out Dore and others understand that actually standing by your princaples and pointing out how full of shit the ones that always claim they are pricapled and believe what you do but aren’t and don’t is a smart move.

And when you can see what those people are doing and how bad it will be, obviously he’ll point that out.

Jimmy’s always been like this.

I was going to point... all of this out. But you beat me to it. This is a -really fucking stupid- idea.

OOH they're citing an executive order from 23 years ago!

This ought to hold up in court if challenged

They're mass-registering blind voters -- no ID recorded. So even if you wanted to do signiture verification, you can't.

This is how they flip Texas Blue and rig the other swing states in 2024.
All these new fuckers streaming in and I'm the one doing jury duty. Can't I get an illiterate Ecuadorian to do it for me? What good are they?

Hey, here's an idea: let's bring back shellshocked, resentful, and disillusioned forever war vets to fill empty jobs where they'll be in positions of authority over lower-ranking troops. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?!

It looks like there are spikes like this in texas every year around March?
This one was from 2023/02

I've been checking random weeks in Feb/Mar by year and have been seeing spikes each year that are outliers compared to other states.
Here's 2020/03/28

1712104503670.png

This looks like some back office batching everything.

Why 02 and 03?
The primary first round happens in march right..
You're going to get a surge going in before, and if there are runoffs, a surge rushing in after to make sure they hit the runoff.
Assuming the voter registration department's central office for the state is as lazy as the DA's handling the immigration cases are to not be ready for arraignment a week after arresting the rioters, I fully expect them to sit on everything for a long ass time then crap it all out at once like this on reporting day.

It's a different doctrine of rifle, like the M1 or M14. It's a Battle Rifle not an assault rifle, focusing on single shots(though this does have auto, it'll probably be used a lot less than the M4/16) at longer range and with more power.
So in that case it should be 7.72 … or is the new ammo truly better? I guess we won’t really know for a while.

Wait, this thing has a 13" barrel and a suppressor, and it’s supposed to be a battle rifle? Has the laws of physics changed or am I completely ignorant of modern warfare?

The one thing that stops me from supporting RFK Jr. is his gun policy and his unwavering support for Pissrael (Although that could be said for Trump as well), but if for whatever reason they find a way to get Trump off the ballot by November, he has my protest vote. Voting really doesn't mean anything besides giving the people in power, no matter how slim the margins are, some form of legitimacy that people still vote and acts as a test to see how many people are still checked into the system, but if RFK does grab a decent chunk of the voting population it will tell TPTB that they are losing true believers of the Democracy cult.

Necking down a large case to a smaller bullet is a common way of making these high muzzle velocity rounds. Higher velocity means less drop.

They really only have noticeable improvement at 500yds which is kinda crazy distance for actual infantry engagements. Either these scopes are a real game changer and they are expecting to be able to accurately engage at unusually far ranges, or more likely it's all about penetration.

The actual amount of energy impacted on the target is less with these high speed rounds. They are significantly lighter, so even though they are going faster, the mass reduces the total impact. It just smaller bullet with still high velocity is going to impart that energy on a smaller surface area of armor, giving it a better chance of penetrating.

In regards to the barrel length, that might be the entire reasoning behind the special hybrid cases. Military procurement is exceptionally dumb, see my previously mentioned requirement of 100% increase in accuracy for the 90's round of testings for a M-16 replacement. They literally might be using super special and more complex to manufacture bimetal cases to maintain a certain level of performance with a shorter barrel, all to shave off 0.5-1 lbs from the rifle to meet requirements.

Military procurement very rarely results in the best equipment, and instead an extremely convoluted one to meet a schizophrenic list of demands. And sometimes some really cool completely retarded shit when trying to fit those demands. Look up Project SPIW for some really cool rifles that are crimes against sensibility that would make even KelTec blush.

This sure as shit won't spark violent resistance.

It gives them none of those things, otherwise they would have done it by now. 2024 Russia isn't 2003 Iraq, the 2024 American military isn't the 2003 one, or the 1991 one. Russia has the second largest submarine fleet in the world. A handful of goat fuckers in Yemen have already caused serious issues for international shipping. Just think what Russian skippers getting to have fun in the Atlantic (and every other ocean for that matter) will do to global supply chains and just in time economics. Hell, the economic down turn, plus a bunch of boys coming home in boxes with pretty flags might just spark civil war 2.0.

Its definitely not a problem to take someone who got out, realized how shit the latter half the deal was, and then bring them back in with some seniority and authority to try and run the ship for you.
Lmao, you think the boomers are gonna be in positions of power and authority? No, their gonna be grunts and answer to DEI negresses a decade to two decades younger than them. Gonna be hell.

Texas AG Ken Paxton was going to have an SEC trial this week but it was settled out of court as the prosecutor could read the tea leaves in this case, Paxton doesn't admit to anything and has to pay a fine and community service. Leftists and Never Trump hit hardest.

Man I love Ken Paxton, it’s nice to have a slimy bastard on our side for once.

Texas Secretary of State has voter registrations from January to March available. Only a gap of <100k. The HAVV has 200k per week, so the number in March should be much higher if it was all new voters. Texas makes you do a voter verification every time you move counties, which might explain the discrepancy.

The other state with extremely high HAVV numbers was Missouri, which doesn’t seem to be on the Dem radar at all.
