reddit General

The more educated among us know that redditors aren't actually people, they're hungry ghosts cursed to roam the world in search of fake internet points.

Don't have anything substantive to say on a post? Comment anyway! It's open mic night in the adult center and everyone in the audience is retarded too. Because of the implications? We had a funeral for a bird! THANOS SNAPPED!

Reddit: Come for the cats, stay for the most excruciatingly dull men on the planet
Sometimes I imagine redditors saying their catchphrases in public. They say the same over repetitive shit it would be like visiting a psycheward full of retards. In the future there will be entire nursing homes full of senile redditors spouting off the same reddit quotes because that is all they remember.

Not their adventures, their friends, family, life experiences, not even their childhood heckin pupperino. Just 'Thank you for the gold kind stranger!' 'Happy Cake Day' 'You My friend are a gentleman and a scholar!'

I'm siding with the cashier on this one. On one hand I understand it sucks being ignored, but on the other you have to understand they're overworked. The customer was there at the wrong time/wrong place. There are other coffee shops.
homie I think everyone is siding with the cashier. harassing the cute girl at the coffee shop and throwing a tantrum and stomping out when she refuses to date you instantly is unhinged.

It's possible the obvious autist was not actually intending to send that message, and I can actually sympathize with both the people in this situation. The autist was cringily making what looked an awful lot like an advance. The person just desperately waiting to go back home who has probably been hit on by awkward nerds or even worse people at that job is also sympathetic.

What autists need to learn is do not fucking hit on people at their job. Or even do anything that remotely looks like it. Just get your coffee, and drink it.

There's a whole world of coffee autism that would keep freakshows way out of those places where normal people are if they'd just dip their toe in and order their first $500 hand grinder plus some bags of beans harvested immediately before a volcano or something.

I wish we had a "sad" reaction.

The only thing that's really changed is the younger generation isn't tricked into believing that a source is non-biased.
Completely disagree.

Go on tik tok and you'll see endless amounts of 13-25 year olds spewing raw propaganda and thinking it's completely true and unbiased, usually because it's a shillfluencer saying so.

No one is immune to anything. I remember people saying "the new generation" would be the first to not listen to the mainstream/propaganda/the man in the 2000s, 2010s, and now the 2020s. I'm sure they were saying that in the 1900s, 1910s, and 1920s too.

Next you'll tell me the younger generation don't respect their parents anymore (:_(

The claim that younger generations would be immune to propaganda made sense with the open web before the transformation into a niggercattle plantation post 2016. There was a strong and to some degree successful replace media talking head with influencer, tell me do you think breadtube retards would be anywhere near as popular as they are if they didn't get special treatment by the algorithm and their opposition wasnt shut down completely on the open web? Don't think demagogue when you think of influencer, think of pushed shills and manufactured consensus

Despite all that the iron grip of information control that the media had has been ultimately been weakend thanks to the internet

"talk to me about anime right the fuck now bitch"
I can only imagine the poise and cadence this retard asked her with.

edit so i don't doublepost:
One of the things I find most amusing about reddit is the absolute lack of common sense the majority have. Someone posts something so obviously sarcastic/ironic but unless it has the /sneed flag redditors will 100% take it seriously and not catch up on the sarcasm.
In my local sub there was an ironic post with obviously propagandic pictures of North Korea of people holding smartphones, browsing the internet on nice computers, "scientists" that are clearly actors in a high tech lab etc and the guy saying something like "Seems like a great place to live honestly". These autists all flooded the comments telling him how that's propaganda(duh), he should move there if it's that nice, asking if he's ever been to North Korea and autistically pulling statistical data describing cell phone and computer usage, quality of life, income, internet users, technology etc. And OP is like "idk man looks real to me" and these fucking retards keep on going even harder.

It feels so surreal, like bots that only accept sarcastic input if it's flagged with /sneed.

It happens all across the internet to be fair.
