The only reason I’d end myself is if I had a crippling disease that was killing me, had no cure, and would cause financial hardship on my family. And I’d do my best to make it look like an accident for legal reasons and to minimize the pain to my family.

I’m gonna be honest I am around that age so maybe I’m just not understanding because I am unironically a dumb kid but I just don’t see how that’s bad enough for him to kill himself and it be like a good thing.

In conventional adult society, a 40 year old has no business contacting anyone under the age of 25 if they are not being paid by an adult (or adults) to interact with the minor in question. Ex: Teachers, doctors, lawyers, tutors, mental health professionals.
