It's also doubly-triply insane because 100% of the problems in his life were being caused by other emulator developers who fucking hated him, talked about how much they hated him, and chased him around the Internet to 4chan and other websites fucking with him, chasing him on Discord fucking with him, harassing his friends and family unrelated to emulator drama, and then at the end he's like: "yeah, this website that I joined and had no issues with anyone there and they gave me a fair shake? The website that had no dox of me or anyone I'm related to? Fuck those guys." What a rotten piece of shit. Rotten to the bitter fucking end.

My hypothesis: this is assuming he is actually dead, I think he still wanted validation from the emulator/coding nerds that rejected him and he thought he could make his suicide an act of martyrdom to redeem himself in their eyes and die for a cause to remove one of the boogeymen of the internet. However he did the deed, he probably thought "They're going to name a law after me when I'm gone."

Reminds me of an anecdote where a guy fantasizes his suicide and imagines hundreds of people will attend the funeral, newspapers and the media will cover it, and all that. So the guy does it then no one shows up to the funeral, no one cares, and the gravediggers especially don't care and piss on his coffin.

I don't have the words for how I'm feeling about this. Immense sadness, I guess. A bit of heartbreak.
I originally joined KF after many years of lurking because of this whole saga, and now it's over.
I always held on to him still being alive, and I think most of us didn't want him to be dead.

There's a lot of unanswered questions. The many people in his life could have handled it much better and we would have accepted the information a lot sooner.
It was a complete clown show. A whole circus. But what Null has provided, in particular, seems very definitive to me.
Rest in peace, Byuu. However much you may have hated us, know that we were really rooting for you.

That's always been my thought. The reason why school shooters keep happening is that we glamorize it in media and since the gun issue is a partisan talking point, nobody will ever do what needs to be done and reduce it to local media coverage only.

How much does that accuracy actually matter though? Maybe it's because I'm not an emulation turboautist, but part of me wonders what benefit there could be to an SNES emulator that actually has system requirements.
