NJ deserves this

Inb4 people jump in here powerleveling their location saying "I felt it!"

Since you started the convo...

I felt it in Philly. One of my cats freaked out and didn't know where to run. The other two didn't care as much. In fact, one of them just slept through it. My bedroom is on the third floor and has a low ceiling. So it was a bit scary for a few seconds even though this house seems pretty solid. The earthquake in 2011 came from Virginia and I was caught a bit dumbfounded by it. For a few seconds I couldn't figure out why the end table was shaking and the dog was acting weird. Then it dawned on me. It's an earthquake. I felt retarded. The only other time I can remember is when I was like nine or ten and watching Square One and there was a slight rumbling from a very minor quake.

On the radio they said that east coast earthquakes are felt at a longer distance because of the bedrock. Our building also aren't built with earthquakes in mind because we don't have many of them.
