Does coomer-ism ruin arts and media? - the negative effect that porn addiction or preoccupation with sex has on the ability to write stories

I brought this subject up briefly in the Goodbye Volcano High thread, but I think it deserves its own thread. When the creators of certain works consume pornography, especially large amounts of it, how much of a negative effect does it have on whatever it is they write/animate/create?

We've discussed many people on this site who could very well fit this description. Vivziepop with her fujoshi ways, Guillaume Labelle with his interest in diaper cheese pizza, Rebecca Sugar with her Cartoon Network fan pornography and preoccupation with sex, etc.

I can think of a few reasons why a coomer would have a harder time writing good content than otherwise:

1. Pornography usage kills drive and saps energy, which in turn kills creativity
2. With porn on the brain, the authors in question try to find ways to insert fanservice (at best) or their own personal fetishes (at worst). As a result, the characters stop acting like people and more like retards (at best) or degenerates (at worst) that pretty much no one can relate to.
3. Even if they don't try to insert such content into their stories, porn warps their perception of reality, making it harder to write characters or settings that make logical sense.

Any other thoughts?

I don't think it is. It's a problem but just a smaller element of liberalism, which is destroying media. The "sex sells" concept isn't particularly new, so I know it's not ruining media on its own (though it does only ever detract from works imo).

The sad thing is the right's, to at least some degree, adopted this coomerism itself, but just a more relatively normal version of it compared to the left's inversion of beauty standards, LGBT agenda, and anti-whiteism.

The short answer is "no".

The long asnwer is, there are plenty of famous visual artists with pretty obvious hardcore fetishes. Go Nagai immediately comes to mind. Certainly, being obsessed with genital stimulation, whether through porn or living partners, can ruin a creative man, once it starts pushing all other concerns out of his mind, but certainly the mere act of jacking off to cartoon characters doesn't. Also current American media largely are puritan and asexual, despite the side dish of faggotry and other mental illnesses. Call me again to discuss animators' propensity to insert their degeneracy (as opposed to degeneracy approved and condoned from on high) into their works when something on the level of, I dunno, Made in the Abyss, becomes somewhat mainstream.

I think this has been around in media since forever but specifically with western stuff it feels like there were more higher ups keeping it in check.
But there is definitely a more recent issue with people becoming way too shameless with porn consumption which bleeds over and causes problems in other areas.
When you use Vivziepop or Rebecca Sugar as examples it might also be the shift from people that grew up on weird cartoons making their own cartoons which get even weirder.
