It’s fine wallpaper. I like phoebe because she drove a checkers cab and Mathew perry. I think it had to do with it being more of a self fantasy piece, like imagine being a yuppie during the last years of NY being good. I still prefer taxi though because it’s got Danny devito.

Never watched it. The people in the 90s watched Power Rangers, though, and that show was ass.

Didn't you hear the artificial laughter every 5 seconds and the actors having to stop the flow of the scene for it to finish? How can you say it was not funny?

Friends was fine as bland entertainment.
Every main character was a piece of shit and their lives were extremely easy.
As with every show there are good and terrible episodes.
Just look up what seem to be the unanimously highest rated ones and watch a few, see how well they hold up.

Several times I've brought up how strange that was and how it would never happen today and most people go "what? No it wasn't."
Personally I didn't even think much of it at the time the show was on TV.

The only benefit with Friends (See what I did there?) are the videos on YT of the laugh tracks being removed for either awkward silence or for dubbing in a horror track.
They didn't have this in the 90's so they were wrong.
