It was a hairdresser not a news anchor and he was also posting pictures of underage locals with sexual captions. He turned into the male version of his wife which is hilarious.
Thank you, you're absolutely right. Fixed it.
WRONG. He did apologize and own up to it. Everyone (except the woman) forgave him and he was going to get away with it. Then, the police pulled him over for a wellness check and he ate a bullet thinking he was going to be arrested. My guess? CP.
Wow all caps lock WRONG. You must be pretty confident in your answer!
Copeland never apologized for writing the story about murdering the hairdresser and then skinwalking her.
He also never apologized for using pictures of local children in his online wank material.
He didn't 'own up' to anything of substance.
The sequence of events was:
1. Copeland gets outed as a crossdresser with an online 'transgender' alter ego.
2. The
first 1819 article is published, detailing his secret transgender social media profiles.
3. Copeland tells his congregation he is under "internet attack". He admits that pictures on the pseudonymous profile are his, but also tells the congregation "a lot of things that were said were taken out of context."
4. Copeland then
gives a flimsy generic apology. ("I apologize for any embarrassment caused by my private or personal life that has come publicly.")
5. Two days later, a
second 1819 article is published, detailing how Copeland wrote a sexual story about murdering a local hairdresser and stealing her life.
6. The article also details how Copeland found pictures of local children, then modified and posted them as wank material with captions. For example, he posted a picture of a young local boy with the caption, "Take the shots, get implants, become the whore". Here are two wank pictures he made using pictures of local children (redacted)

7. Several hours after the second 1819 article is published (with these pictures), Copeland is pulled over for a wellness check, and he shoots himself on the side of the road.
8. Hairdresser forgives him some time after he's dead.
So no, Bubba didn't 'own up' to anything. He never apologized to his victims for terrifying and humiliating them.
In fact, he begged 1819 not to publish the first article, and tried to pressure them into silence because of his position as the mayor and a pastor.
If you have different information than this timeline above, please by all means link to the sources.
And yeah, I also wouldn't be surprised if Bubba's hard drives were full of CP/CSAM.
