I’ve always wondered what Nathanael West would make of the current crop of Agony Aunties, but esp the Agony Auntie trainwreck that is Mallory. It’s odd reversal for the most tragic figure to be the advice columnist.

Joe’s beloved WH Auden pointed out that West’s novels are about a “Kingdom of Hell whose ruler is not so much a Father of Lies as a Father of Wishes” and the modern tranny hellscape has always made me think of lives ruined by deluded wish fulfillment and fantasy.

Saul’s daughter Esther mostly escaped the worst of the commune stuff thanks to being an adult by the time it was really under way. I do highly recommend Alexander Stiles book. The group attracted a glittering array of artists, intellectuals and writers in its heyday. Joe would have been a happy groveling acolytes of the group enforcing its sexually liberated group think with glee. The Sullivans were really his people. He could have made all the women have sex with him without the troon clown performance too.

One mainstay of the Sullivains was the total destruction of the nuclear family. Saul hated his parents and was convinced anyone who didn’t hate their parents had deep seated issues that only his therapy could resolve. He could help others achieve total hatred and rejection of their family. Obviously members of the group had to cut all family ties to join. The family unit was replaced with inner-group friendships or “chum-ship” relationships, but this was mostly just for the men. The younger women were just conned into being cum rags. Desiring monogamy got you sent to reeducation therapy or ejected from the group.

Joe has been regurgitating and recycling the main ethos of Sullvainians for years, which is no surprise since it’s mostly based on the navel gazing psychotherapy/ psychoanalysis he got deeply into.

There's no way the wrap is tight enough to actually allow him to carry the baby hands-free. Not that he's gonna drop the baby or anything, but this just shows what an arrogant, male fucking idiot he is. Take a moment to learn how to do it right? No time, there are selfies to post!

Lily and Grace and I just had a baby yesterday! His name is Rocco and he is terrific. By far the smallest guy I’ve ever met. If you’ve got any baby advice you think we could use, please do feel very free to share it, since this is a first for all three of us.

They give your baby a free little hat when you have a baby in the hospital, you know. But the hat doesn’t like to stay on.

He’s a wonderful little yellow lump of butter. I’m very glad to get to know him, almost more glad than I can say. It is very hard to lose family, and it is very beautiful to gain family. One doesn’t cancel out the other, but it is nevertheless so good to receive. I hope you are all made as happy as you can possibly bear this week, and I’ll be back to talk more about Mansfield Park soon.

The tragic irony of being so “feminist” that you cut off your boobs because you loathe your female body and you give up any chance of custodial rights to your so called children and you support your other wife’s removal of any marital rights too. So feminist! My goodness!

You know, so feminist that both women allow the only penis haver in the relationship both full marital rights and full custody rights to the child.

Lily I assume has custodial rights and Mallory has the marriage certificate, but Joe? He gets full marriage rights, parental rights, and also granted extra female rights too because he’s a special transgender person and not an evil man. And? It looks like he gets the extra honor of being Mama? Or did I misunderstand this? How’s any of this promoting female rights?

I mean Lily doesn’t seem to have a family nor does Mallory, but Joe is allowed to have a mom too.

Not likely to go Mallory's way regardless, but it's always striking how people like this put the safety and security of their precious and vulnerable child into a randomizer and just assume everything will be fine.
