Something that isn't really getting talked about into games industry, and I hear similar things are happening in other related industries as well, is these layoffs aren't as sweeping as they are looking. It's very common to see a whole bunch of people get transferred to a different department and within 72 hours either the department they got transferred to, or more often the department they got transferred out of if there are laws that would cause issues, get axed. A lot of the people who are not being saved tend to be the diversity hires and the whiners who don't perform.

Trannies and their minions tend not to work very hard. They tend to throw tantrums. They tend to talk a little bit too much about unionization. They tend to run their mouths on social media too much. During hard times when the belt needs to be tightened and inefficiencies purged, they don't typically actually have much reason to be kept around. In a sense, The terminally woke are being removed in a way that just makes it very difficult to show any kind of political bias in who is getting removed. The process is slow but it is happening. At least for now.
