It's pathetic that I know around 75% of these idiots went to college and know that stuff about sample size, repeatability, reliability, and reproducible results were drilled into their heads if they took a single science class to graduate. This is true where the paper is a meta analysis, a RCT, an observational study that cannot make cause and effect claims. or a cohort study

In reality nearly no one that age can find a doctor willing to perform those surgeries. The risk of regret later in life is far too high, and doctors (non-tranny ones anyway) are rightly concerned about malpractice lawsuits.

Childfree groups have been talking about this online at least since LiveJournal; so close to 30 years now. It might be easier for a man to get the snip at that age, but it's almost impossible for a woman to get a tubal until she's had at least two kids, or is over the age of 30. Even older women with no children get pushback, "what if your husband wants children", is the most frequently talked about pushback.

Even women with serious mental illness or genetic diseases that should never be passed on, can't get a doctor to sterilize them for decades. I understand why, that skirts close to the eugenics operation on retards, insurance would have a cow. But these are women asking for this of their own free will.

No one online would admit to this now, but I imagine there's more than one woman who've claimed to be trans to get a doctor to agree to this. It seems they have no problem with doing that for that kind of mental illness, but say you have bipolar disorder and can't go off the drugs? LAMO, no.

There's no placebo effect with parachutes. They either work or they don't. They can be tested without humans needed at all. If you drop that backpack full of rocks with a parachute does it slow the decent enough? It's a physics problem.

This isn't the case for testing to see drugs effects on humans. As I will never stop pointing out, the "trans science" side of the debate doesn't even have a hypothesis of how this is supposed to work. Well, they do, but they never say it out loud because it would sound stupid. That estrogen/testosterone have some relation to brain function independent of biological sex so that it can be "mismatched" and putting enough estrogen in a male brain will cause it to function "female" and so "correctly." Psychiatry can't even prove that anti-depressants (to pick just one example, it's a majority of these drugs really) work the way they're hypothesized and that's a pretty straightforward non-complex problem!

With good reason. The regret rate is massive and doctors have been sued and lost even with extensive counselling and signed informed consent. There’s also the fact that in young women, it’s a fairly common mode of self mutilation and comorbid with mental health problems.
That sucks for the women with severe problems physically, but there are very good reasons why doctors don’t sterilise young people.
