They're Jack's idea of a fancy restaurant. Has Jack ever even been seen inside a restaurant with even a single Michelin star?
I think the closest he's been was that fancy-ish Italian restaurant he was successfully trolled into reviewing. He had shat out a review without even visiting the restaurant and got into a bunch of shit for it, but instead of deleting the review he just decided to make that into a video and edit the review to match it.

I don't really know either one well (thank God) but I always assumed they were basically the same, just that one is vaguely Americana themed and one is vaguely Tex Mex themed. Both are likely too high class for Jack.

The dumpster outside the shitter that Jr has to clean out after the homeless pump cum and heroin into each other is about as classy a place as Jack can be at without putting on airs.

AnOm, your screenshot is of Sam the cooking guy, Sam Zien. He's a San Diego cooking show legend who told Cathy Lee to shut up on the today show, guaranteeing his ass will never be on the food network.

His videos are fun and casual, and he walks you through every step of prep. One of the funnier things is when he fucks up by burning himself or knocking over a bowl, he leaves it in the video because he is not a thin skinned bitch.

He does a similar thing to Jack in saying that he is not a chef, but a "cooking guy" but he has had several successful restaurants. (One is being sold out from under him right now)

I like when he bitches about the local produce scene, he buys his own ingredients rather than having someone do it for him. This also makes his recipes home replicable because he's using the same shit you are.

Also unlike Jack, he's won multiple Emmys for the shows he's been on.

That's Applebee's. Chili's is at least decent most of the time. Applebee's is just shit.
Sorry to break it to you but all those chains get most of their shit premade and it's either warmed up or microwaved.

You will not find a lot of things that are made from scratch at Applebee's.

Yeah that's more or less it.

It's crap food that you wind up paying way more for than you should.

Like Fatty would even know what a Michelin starred restaurant would look like.

What's like the one decent recipe Jack has ever done, there has to be at least one, right?
You can find his cookbook here on page 2079
I'm partial to page 5.

I was talking about Jack's stupid meat grinder video with a friend who works as a chef and got scolded hard after I said he should just use the KitchenAid. According to him, the KitchenAid sucks, any cheap $100 meat grinder from China would be "infinitely better". The KitchenAid is slower, low power, and does not handle a lot of meat types at all. He also said the meat grinding cylinder component should be cooled down prior to use, toss it in a fridge?

I guess I was wrong and dumb then. I suppose if you're grinding your own minced meat once in a while and bake a lot, the KitchenAid works decently. If you intend to grind your own meat all the time because supermarket ones aren't good (they're not), then most dedicated ones from China would do a superior job at the cost of just the KitchenAid attachment alone. Supermarket ground meat isn't good because they're essentially throwing everything into a machine, cuts of meat from different animals. You don't know what's in the ground meat.

I'll take the L and get myself something from China. Enjoy your W Jack.

Edit: For the same cost of that attachment, I can get a semi-commercial unit from China and they told me they sell every single component. If the thing ever breaks, I can just order replacement gears, blades, knobs and so on. Yikes.

I know he's a pretty cool guy, and so did Rob. And picking the "Carnivore" shirt bit was an epic dig.

Your friend should consider being slightly less homosexual. I mean seriously what is wrong wtih him? He sounds incredibly gay.

He should be more like Rob Milanowski.

I’ve got that attachment, but found it for 1/4 retail price, unused, at a thrift store. Full price is crazy for the KitchenAid attachments, and most of them are minimally useful.

But the mincer is good. Like you say, if you have infrequent needs. It’s significantly easier to clean after use than any other mincer I’ve used even though you can’t put it in the dishwasher (because it’s aluminium).

Honestly that's not too surprising, but the thing is the grinder attachment as rarely as most people would use it also takes up less space. That doesn't excuse Fatty for promoting random chinesium bullshit though, broken clock can be right twice a day doesn't mean that Fatty knows a damned thing about anything.

He is gay. Could be why he's so snobbish about meat grinding and mincing.

Yeah, a dedicated grinder is one big loud machine that will take up a lot of space and get used maybe once a week whereas a KitchenAid might get used every day.
Cleaning is a major annoyance, all the stores tell me it's not a good idea to throw the parts in a dishwasher.

My problem with Jack wasn't the product itself but the reasons he shilled it. He claimed you have to make your own minced meat because the stores and/or government could be mixing lab-grown meat in. I kid you not. This guy is beyond fucking retarded. I guess because of that, I just wanted to find reasons to call him a retard, and owning a $600+ KitchenAid setup but not using it was one of them. Well, still is. Will this fat lazy fuck use minced meat everyday in cooking and grind it himself? No. So just like the KitchenAid he splurged on, this Chinese grinder is going to be in storage forever.
God this thumbnail, maybe the guy in it can sodomise Jack's bitemoji thing.
