Everyone here keeps suggesting shit until you realize the "community" of whatever thing/hobby you have interest in is the same faggot-tier shit NPCs you wanted to avoid. Whether it be flamboyant gays and yurishitters clinging to one old media because it has gays and lesbos in it, to mouthbreathers that force you into the new culture (like the difference between old cars and new cars and how many newfags who only know of those disgusting EVs are infesting the car enthusiast communities). In the gaming sphere, the "transcore" games exist for a reason, to "claim" games that they perceive validates their existence. You can't even avoid it no matter how much you try, there will always be that one fag that ruins things because it has to conform to the new world (every single cinephile post-2020), so you are forced to keep whatever hobby you are in to yourself.
Fuck the future, if it means drowning in the past of endless Deus Ex and Network rewatches and playthroughs, so be it. Every single thing that I have hoped to be good turned out to be shit (French Dispatch, Darkest Dungeon II, PAYDAY 3), every long-running series that I followed ended in a whimper (Kaguya-Sama, the Walking Dead, Attack on Titan, Batman Arkham), every """original""" IP crashed and burned in a disgrace (Darling in the Franxx, Midsommar, Tenet, Midway), once great foundations were defiled out of incompetence (Counter-Strike 2, War Thunder, Dune, Fate, Warhammer) or out to fulfill a diversity quota (Saints Row Reboot, Ghostbusters Reboot), and the rest of what the modern media has shown in the table has been nothing but rehashes (Rebel Moon, every single Makoto Shinkai movie), worse trend chasing (The Finals, every single Gacha Game) and sequels worse than the original/miss the point of what makes the originals good (Evil Genius 2, the John Wick movies past the first).
