Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

It doesn't work on multiple levels because nobody minds playing the game as that one guy who played angry teenage Darth Vader - even the most stereotypical dudebro from 2005 hot off madden.

The most I've seen about Pinocchio here are the occasional jokes from some guys streaming it. (Women streaming it I've seen "Oh, I don't want to cover his face with this mask because he's so pretty.") I haven't seen outrage, threats of violence, or mentally ill break downs.

Twink Souls was pretty good. I got stuck on the fucking annoying clown boss though and I quit Gamespass because I'm playing too much Helldivers and working (plus fuck MS and their DEI bullshit) so I probably won't ever get back to it.

It reminds me of the whole "dad bod" fad that happened maybe a decade or so ago now? Basically early middle aged men with a beer belly were peak masculinity for a brief time. I don't know if it was ironic, or if it was true in the real world, but there was at least some dating sims made around that theme.
I remember that shit. For me it looked like a coordinated attempt by journoscum to influence readers & make lazy fat male slobs look sexy and healthy. Articles with photos of fat bastards at the beach with their beer bellies hanging out were suddenly everywhere.
possibly testing the waters for a potential male version of the 'fat acceptance' movement
but it never really took off, from what i can tell even their target demographic of fat middle aged men didn't really embrace it or take it seriously, so it just kind of died down over time

As far as Souls clones go, I rate it highly. It's got issues and there are design choices that I'm not a fan of but it's feature complete, has an intriguing story, and runs great. I liked it more than I thought I would, especially as the demo didn't sit all that well with me.

Don't they already have a troon in Rell?
The only LGBT+ thing that's implied with Rell is that she might be possibly bisexual due to having
lines where she acts like a flustered high schooler whenever she encounters champions like
Seraphine, Leona, Sett and Ekko. But her acting like that could be also written as a teenager
whose hormones are kicking in (her canon age is apparently 16).

I also forgot to mention in my previous post that given that PC League and Wild Rift is still
heavily dominated by Chinese demographics, who really barely tolerate niggos and fruits,
most of LGBTBBQ+ shit is now dumped at Legends of Runeterra, Riot's answer to Hearthstone that
was released in 2019.
1712945607108.png
Where they included a character that is an actual troon and voiced by one.
1712943974459.png

Also really funny that the trend of frutifying champions didn't started until late 2010s when rather infamous woke people were openly working for the company such as DanielZKlein (who was a community coordinator and champ gameplay designer back then) and ArchivistBecks, despite most of these champions aside from Neeko, Diana and K'Sante (Vi and Cait are bit murky when it comes to this topic and that's for another post) not having any indicators they are that.
1712944934731.png

Also another point of interest is that when Neeko got revealed to be a carpet muncher by the writer on Twitter a month later
after a spicy article accusing Riot of having a sexist work culture was published.

Hard Drive would be funnier if the seething in their articles wasn't so big you could see it from orbit
Didn't some troon from HardDrive went to jail for grooming like a year ago?

Today is all about Capcom's localization team fucking things up.

Capcom being compromised is known since the 2020 leaks. But Capcom fanboys are retarded and have been ignoring it.

EDIT: I can't find the actual document from the leak, but here's a writeup about it.
Among the documentation includes a presentation on political correctness and advertising materials, and how to avoid drama and controversy. This includes avoiding the use of language that can be deemed as discriminatory or prejudice, and will result in new guidelines for each region’s PR and advertising material creators.
Even so, some of the documentation discusses what to do and what to avoid as though it applied to game designers, though this may be the result of how it was translated into English. This includes gender neutral cosmetic options, only featuring certain ethnicities or portraying them as unequal or stereotypical, and avoiding sexual or obscene language and jokes unless inevitable based on the context of a story or narrative.
Sexuality, LGBTQ, and women were also discussed. One slide features The Last of Us Part II and Shadow of the Tomb Raider as being positive examples of LGBTQ characters; and that such characters should be portrayed as appealing as male characters (and promoted in the same way). Capcom do note that certain regions view LGBTQ characters negatively.
Meanwhile, Nintendo’s Princess Peach and Zelda were used as examples of negative stereotypes of women due to being damsels in distress. This is in spite of the image used for Zelda being from Breath of the Wild; where the character takes a more pro-active role.
The presentation also asks to defer to the localizers of different regions and vendors to make sure certain content is appropriate. Examples include Arab localization and content featuring pigs, the use of Happy Holidays over Merry Christmas, and numbers or expressions that may refer to the Nazi party.
The presentation recommends characters that appeal to a wide range of people, with male and female player characters being treated the same within a video game. Custom characters should be able to have any haircut or facial hair, and various body types.
Sex appeal, such as bikini costumes or lewd poses and costumes, should be equal between men and women, and serve a purpose in the context of the story. However, costumes cannot appeal to only one kind of user base, such as only one gender.
Capcom used their own games as examples of this. While a shirtless costume for Street Fighter‘s Ryu was fine, R. Mika’s butt-smashing super move was not. Cases where an armor set in Monster Hunter World shows more skin on the female character was also seen as a bad thing.
Likewise, while Spider-Man Miles Morales was seen as a positive portrayal of non-white races, while Street Fighter‘s Dee Jay wearing a Rastafarian hat was not.
It should be noted that while this documentation indicates a presentation was likely given, it is unknown how Capcom have acted based on it. In the US, certain diversity and political correctness courses for businesses are mandatory under state law, or provide incentives such as lower taxes.

That's at least relatively normal compared to the current practice of fagging up every single male character and uglifying and dyking up every female. I'd call it Communism but even Communism detests degeneracy. I suppose they wouldn't be above using it to weaken an enemy though.

This isn't exactly SBI (and I'm not sure what twitter archivers even work anymore) but game developer Possibility Space just shut down and the CEO statements on it blame an upcoming Kotaku story that hasn't even been published yet.

@Shieldman Is he covering anything new there or just going over the crapcom leak from 2020 for the normalcattle? Your article pretty much just talks about that.

Hmm, you know, years ago I worked for a dotcom. The dotcom was based on a decent idea, and was running fairly lean. However, somehow a group of people from the West Coast managed to take over the running of it. I assume they tricked, I mean convinced, the private investors funding it that they were much cooler than the people who had been running it up until then. They basically treated investment as income and looted the company. Then we had the famed "dotcom crash." Of course, I never got my last paycheck, and in one of our last meetings they offered to pay me in stock. (I don't think they actually would have paid me if I had accepted.)

Hmm, I wonder why I decided to bring up that story?

I thought he was a tranny until Frosted snowflakes posted his face.
He put his wife in the game and then made her rival/conceptual opposite a lesbian. He is 100% going to troon out or wishes he could.

Was he really that pissed off about his employees talking to them or is it because he's involved in some money laundering shit and that's going to expose him?

I knew someone at one of those dotbombs who had that happen to them, pretty much everyone who got screwed decided to pay themselves by stealing everything that wasn't nailed down on their way out the door, figuring nobody would be able to do shit about it, which turned out to be right. They got a few nice laptops and some other gear out of it.

Wild times.

I wouldn't approve of such shit normally, but the slime running the company had more or less stolen everything else already, including the pay of everyone working there for about a month.

From my layman pov, it comes off like the publishing deal was the thing holding the company together, but Idk. The wife's statement is bizarre, though.

The cancellation of a project from a small developer can be devastating, and I think that's probably the simplest explanation. Though could be totally wrong.
