it's not 100% clear if John was ever fired. The only reason I could find is pelech left when Don jolly was fired, and Don jolly was presumably fired for talking about the abuse allegations.
Everything is fine between them, i'll not be able to find it, but back when Sam was streaming someone asked about John, and he said that he misses John and even asked if Jet ever met him, to which jet replied of course.

I haven't gone and won't be going but the stand up tour is mostly symbolic. The material doesn't matter as much as an actual standup comedy show because the fans are just excited to see Sam in person. It's symbolic because it brought the gang back together, picking up right where WP season one ended, after a very heavy cancellation and blacklisting seemed to have killed MDE. They were originally going to do a tour in 2016 before everything went to shit and now they're finally doing it against all odds.
From what I've seen from alot of the photos the shows aren't strictly a Unite the Right esque gathering of Hitler Jungen types, Im not saying its a rainbow coalition or anything but Sam has a broader appeal than just those guys, just seems like they're some of the easiest types to point to so they get the most attention. Ol Blockhead Bernstien for all his incompetence did successfully manage to permanently cast that shadow over Sam
Detroit show. Chris Lynch started the show with some standup of his own, and it was really good!! I won’t spoil any of the content in case anyone here is going, but he made a couple of really funny jokes about superchats specifically. Alex Schultz (sp?) did a set after that, was also good. Charls and Nick both absolutely killed it. Sam’s set was exactly what you’d expect, in a good way!
