Afaik they haven't even identified him yet. The original reports said two attackers, which would have made a planned terrorist attack extremely likely. However, it's now been confirmed that there was only the one attacker, which raises the possibility of drugs or psychosis on his part.

Pictures of him show a very woggish appearance, however, and one of those he attacked was a mum with a bub in her arms. Soooo... yeah.

I continue to see massive amounts of poverty everywhere and all i see in the Northern and Eastern suburbs its extreme wealth beyond compare, with little regard for the people struggling.

Yesterday that was a mass-stabbing perpetrated by children against other children right in front of a school, one dead and two others considerably injured. Absolute zip from national authorities then. Was the NSW or Australian education minister out there giving a token statement? Nope.

Mate, I haven't been to Sydney in fifteen years, I have never lived there and I was never all that familiar with the place. I have been told that a lot of the good areas aren't anymore, and that some of the bad areas are really bad. And you are right, the news that does make it up this way is pretty limited.

That said, attacking unarmed, unsuspecting non combatants is a dick move regardless of the background or who they are.

That 'kid' was 18, his brother was 19 - so school-aged but also legal adults, and they weren't students attending Doonside Tech High,. The media's been referring to them as kids however. It shouldn't take away from the fact that it is a 16 year old who is accused of being the murderer with other accomplices still at large, also presumably children.

It's gay to speculate, but it was one of the 756 route buses, and that route only starts passing by highschools at Doonside Tech. Victims could be from any of the Blacktown area highschools, same for perps.

Doonside's the same suburb a 16 y/o boy was lured and murdered in late-2021 by other teens (incl a 13 y/o) after being mistaken for stealing a pair of headphones. His death didn't get continuous coverage for more than a month unlike the 'Blak lives matter' angle that the media took for all of 2022 when covering that 16 y/o schoolboy in WA who was murdered by a group of men in another case of mistaken identity over stolen property.

Dead 18 y/o's name is Izaaya/Iyzaa Naden, his 19 y/o brother is Jareya Naden.

Both names show up on court lists, but unfortunately NSW doesn't let you look up historical court listings to confirm as to whether these are the same individuals nor the actual nature of the court hearings - so it may very well be unrelated people with similar names for non-criminal matters. Worse yet, only actual proof we have of these court dates at all is indexed Daily Telegraph articles, and even then those articles get deleted regularly from the websites.
