I have an answer for the "you're beautiful" asspats in specific; some people think of lying to extremely ugly people about their appearance as sort of a charity, especially when said person is trans or handicapped in some way.

In that situation it would be two dudes against one, with at least one of the crossdressing ones wielding a weapon in their purse. I'm sure this totally happened and Greta would never lie to us for attention like she usually does.

Not even in Greta's purse. According to Greta's previous posts, she open carries her knife on her hip (which seems to be where Phil got the idea from).

I notice she left out the tiny detail of what was actually said. You're under no obligation to talk to random strangers, but fearing you're going to murdered and going on a "don't talk to us" tirade isn't an appropriate response to someone asking you for the time or directions, either.

I hate how these morons have such a vested interest in creating a culture of fear. Regardless of your gender or your sexuality, the best way to avoid being murdered is to choose your social circle wisely. The overwhelming majority of murder victims are killed by someone they know, not some random stranger they encounter in public.

Transwomen are very often sex workers, so there's a higher probability of them getting killed by one of their customers. Not that anyone would pay that lipstick-wearing yeti for sex.

While sex workers - and especially non-white street sex workers - are at higher risk, Greta and Co keep trying to imply that average troons like themselves are at huge risk of being murdered by random strangers every time they step outside their front door. It's simply not the case (less than 30 trans women get killed annually and that number includes both domestic murders and hooker deaths), and it's all too rarely they get called out on such claims.

Greta arms herself because she's an aggressive piece of shit who likes confrontation, not because of any genuine fear that some rando is going to try to murder her. Because she's perceived by her asslickers as "strong", her claims of being afraid just make her hangers on who perceive themselves as less capable than her totally paranoid.

Additionally, and I'm not trying to be shitty, but there is such a thing as "occupational hazard".
This is an ugly thing to talk about, because nobody likes to acknowledge that having a shitty life is often going to be shitty, but there are certain risks inherent to certain lines of work. If you're a famous actor, odds are good that your most painful private moments will be caught on film and aired on TMZ for all the world to see.
And that sucks, but you did take that risk along with the job.
If you enlist in the armed forces and get deployed oversees to one of the many hotspots, there is a nonzero chance that one day you'll be doing your job as usual and some asshole is going to blow your head off or catch you in a suicide bombing.

I honestly haven't seen any good research on the percentage of trans people who become hookers. It's an article of faith that transwomen are forced into prostitution because...reasons, but I never see any research to back up this claim - let alone data which takes into account other factors which influence people into prostitution (drug and alcohol problems, mental health issues, etc).

It also doesn't help that many trans people who claim to be sex workers aren't at significant risk of harm due to the nature of their "sex work". NekoArc probably puts himself more at risk with his "going to city X, who wants to fuck" posts than through his cam-whoring. Likewise, if Phil is ever attacked, it's unlikely to be because he's a "trans sex worker".
