I doubt it. Jr has Tammy's genes running through him. I don't know much about the first Mrs. Scalfani, but the fact that she had enough common sense present in her to ditch fat ass tells us Garrett at least got some quality genes from her side of the family.
I mean, she still married Jack to begin with. I wouldn't call them "quality" just yet.

People didn't know at the time what was going on with him. A lot of people thought he was just cashing in on bad films where he didn't have to do anything for monetary reasons.
Plus the stories Kevin Smith told about working with him on Cop Out weren't flattering. Smith took his lumps for his own mishandling of the film, but by all accounts Willis was very difficult to work with and unpleasant to be around. Interesting to go back and listen to these stories again knowing what we know now.

A lot of actors are like that. They're prickly and they don't deal well with certain directors or ways of doing things.

Bruce Willis takes this to another level and he's burned a lot of bridges. Directors have complained that he's argumentative, uncooperative and very demanding. And this was before he got sick. But directors will put up with it because he is, or at least was, a box office draw.

Ironic as he drinks his coffee piss weak and with four creams and sweeteners.
Sounds like a gross milkshake.

A lot of these trash sellers try to pander to coffee enthusiasts without understanding that we're one of the most insufferable, autistic and picky bunches ever.
Want to buy a coffee-themed gift for a friend that's deeply into this? You don't. Get him/her a video game or something.

A rare image of Jack Scalfani with a head full of hair.

Jack has often said "I know I'm fat, I've been fat my whole life" to deflect any commentary about his weight and the impact it has on his health. The thing is though, when you see his high school senior photo, and now this photo (as far as I know those are the only two young Jack photos we have ever seen, like younger than his wedding photos with Tammy anyway), he wasn't fat. Like, yeah, could you technically say he was a little husky or something, sure, but even in the 80s that was not a man who would have stood out or got a double-take as a 'fat person'.

It makes me wonder where it all began, where he started thinking of himself as having always been fat, and internalizing that to the point that he used it to deflect well-intentioned advice about his health, and to decide that it didn't matter anyway?

You're right, he wasn't even 80s fat. I do believe, however, that Jack has never had all that high an opinion of his own looks, so when he entered his 30s or likely his late 20s and things started to slide, he decided stuffing down lard from a phantom, imagined mommy who actually loved him was more important and he easily accepted the basement self-esteem of an avowed grease goblin.

After the strokes obliterated his memory of when he was a semi-normal person.

I know you're making a joke but he was saying the "I know I'm fat, I've been fat my whole life" even like 15 years ago in the lime green California kitchen. I remember because I thought, well, maybe he was a truly fat kid, but it doesn't seem that it was the case.

Jack's on his live stream explaining that he sets the start time on the stream for 10:15am but he always starts at 10am. Because he thinks it'll just start streaming him if he sets it to 10... So it needs to be late so he can start on time?!
I'd expect this to be the whole "I started the stream at 10:03, but I'm not late because I'm early" thing, but does he actually think it'd start streaming him automatically? What a maroon.
Apparently this happened a month ago?
https://nypost.com/2024/03/17/lifestyle/buc-ees-bans-man-for-bringing-his-service-duck-inside-store/ No shit live animals shouldn't be in a store with food being made. He got told 3 times before cops were called too.
As you'd expect, he wasn't just banned for life for bringing a duck inside the store, he was arguing with the employees about being told the duck had to go. The cops probably wouldn't have been called if he'd just left (and even if they were, if he was long gone by the time they arrived, they wouldn't have been able to give him proper legal notice that he was banned and would be trespassed in the future).
Always good to see annoying attention-seeking fags with their dumb "service animals" get BTFO.
Fucking assholes with their fake documents from online scam companies saying that their bullshit "emotional support animals" are registered and trying to pass them for official "service animals". The ADA doesn't require any specific registration, but it doesn't prohibit it either, and scam companies are happy to exploit this to sell official-looking vests and papers claiming that an animal is registered. Which is technically true, they have made a list and put the animal's name on their list, but that means absolutely nothing under the ADA.

Under the ADA, aside from the fact that only dogs and miniature horses are included, a "service animal" has to be trained to perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities... either physical tasks, or to physically intervene if a serious mental health crisis is occurring. Simply providing companionship / "emotional support" is not a "service animal" under the ADA, but neither the ADA nor Tennessee state law have any penalties for fraudulently representing a pet as a service animal (except to your rental property's landlord, a misdemeanor in Tennessee).

Here's my hot take, if someone is too mentally ill to go out in public without "emotional support", establishments have every right to ban them on that basis alone. Not at all to undervalue the impact of therapy animals on those who have them, but you don't get a pass to haul that critter around in public anywhere you want.

It probably began right around the time he first started putting on weight. It isn't uncommon for fat people to make up false claims for their obesity. It is a coping mechanism. For Jack to admit he was thin once would be him admitting that it was him that allowed himself to become fat, which would mean taking responsibility for his own actions. Something he is not going to do. By claiming he was always overweight, it allows him to blame outside forces for why he is in the shape he is in today.

I bring it up in the Moviebob thread often how Bob literally created a long, convoluted explanation that blamed his entire family and everyone around him for why he ended up developing diabetes. This is Bob Chipman, the guy who thinks a 12 piece McDonalds meal is a small amount of food for an average size person by the way.

Yeah. I can't argue with that. One thing that I tend to be really anal about is my coffee... well that and food in general.

You'll find a lot of people agree with this. If you're that fragile and need a support animal with you at all times it means there's something wrong with you and you need to limit the time in public.

My mom has an ESA dog. He isn't trained to do shit but the impact is clear, she was on her way to a self exit before she got the little shit toboggan.
Her dog has far more utility than hope, and is treated much better.
Know what he is that no horse ever can be? HOUSE TRAINED.
Horses just shit, they don't care, and can't be trained otherwise.

God damnit, now Scalfani has me wondering if you can house train a duck. I know they take nasty shits.
