Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

My job has me work with people that get attacked by these things all the time. Recently an "emotional support pitbull" mauled a groundskeeper that was just picking up trash, and sent him to the ER where he had to have surgery on his leg. I asked the manager what an "emotional support pitbull" was and she said "Its ridiculous, but we are legally not allowed to deny them residence, we called animal control though"

Because I've seen autopsy textbook pictures of decapitated babies, a deceased 6 yr old with the whole front of his skull showing because his face got torn off, and dead little kids with multiple bites and scratches whole bled to death, all thanks to the lovely pitbull.
These were different races too, because pitbulls don't discriminate. (R/banpitbulls isn't afraid to show the injuries, so that's where I'd seen 'em.)

It's gotta be someone 'important' because they will have the publicity and media attention because nobodies like us just get a couple paragraphs, unless it's especially grisly. Otherwise it rarely happens.

To be fair that happens a lot already. People get wild animals because cute or cool. Then sanctuaries get to deal with deformed and mentally deranged animals dumped on them, if the animal doesn't die of malnutrition first or get shot by cops for killing someone.

Pit bulls do not.

You see how they are in every video where they get shot. It's mad they never try to flee, even as they're dying they still crawl to nanny you. They just will not stop until they're dead, and pitmommies try to cope by saying it's courage. It's kind of the most horrifying part of those vids to me, more than the actual incident because their need to kill is so psychotic. If I anthropomorphized them it must be suffering like schizophrenics, just demonic screaming in their hippo heads all the time.

I wouldn't put it beyond the best friends animal society (AKA the process church) to start such an effort in the next 10 years. Absolute insanity.

Shitbulls are actually worse. None of those are suitable pets, but also, none of them are trained to attack things larger and more dangerous than themselves with no provocation whatsoever. Even wolves have some social sense and sense of self-preservation. (I've heard that wolf blends are more dangerous than actual wolves but am not sure why.)
