The troons are actually really lucky that the Nazis burnt all that research, because it enables them to write whatever retarded fanfiction they want about what they lost and nobody can tell them they're wrong, because all the evidence is nothing but ash now.

"Didn't you know, Magnus Hirschfeld had nearly perfected a magical pink potion to turn men into beautiful Barbie doll bimbos, just like out of my sissification hentai comics, uh, research into trans history? But then the evil SS officer J.K. Rauling (who some argue was the ancestor of the hateful children's book author) gathered up all his research and burnt it all on a big fire!"

It reminds me a bit of the 'We Wuz Kangs' type of black nationalist, who claim that black Africans had these incredibly advanced ancient societies with modern technology far beyond what you'd expect of the time period, before Whitey 'stole their knowledge'.

"This is facism in it's purest form and we're all living to see it."
I just can't! :story:

He tweets 2016 tier liberal outrage while his arch nemesis (who in every interview offers to bury the hatchet), is getting free rides on space tourism rockets everytime he asks for one.

While Georgey gets to bend over for the party that placed his family in internment camps.

As opposed to what she was going for politically with HP? Non-political cultural impact is possible. It’s just straightforward popularity. Taylor Swift had it though she’s becoming lib coded after all these years.

Books-wise I guess I’m surprised that Strike isn’t a Reacher-level phenom in the States. I think that would have happened by now if she weren’t getting punished for wrongthink.
HP had loads of sociopolitical allegories, although they're all pretty simplistic given that it's a children's book series.

But nah I get what you're saying. And it's definitely true that the series would have loads of wokies soying out about it just because she wrote it if JK Rowling hadn't been painted as LE EBIL TERFNAZI.

I do remember that when she was writing under a pseudonym the book did way better commercially than either she or the publisher expected though.

"So-called gender identity".

It's absolutely scorched earth, now.

Here's the article.
The Scottish Green Party has suspended Beth Douglas from the role of Rainbow Greens co-convener, after a series of "violent" tweets.

Douglas has been accused of using derogatory language on social media, supporting controversial protests against women, inflaming debate by calling feminists 'fascists' and posing with weapons for Twitter pictures that threaten "cis" people.

A well-known face in the Scottish trans activist movement, Douglas is a trans woman and has spoken at many demonstrations advocating for the Gender Recognition Reform Bill and the ideology.

Douglas, who still has the job title in her Twitter bio, has been in the "public facing" representative role for LGBT+ members of the Scottish Greens and attended Holyrood equality committee evidence sessions.

The use of the offensive word Terf -Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist- used to describe women who criticise gender ideology, features heavily on Douglas's social media, along with unfounded allegations that they are "fascists".

There are also images of Douglas holding an axe and a knife circulating social media. Holding up a knife in a threatening way, one of the captions for the images says "I heard yall hate trans women, knives and axes".

In another image, Douglas is seen with two others flexing arm muscles and looking threatening. The caption said: "...you're cis on #transdayofvisibilty and we're going to beat you up for it".

Cis or cisgender is the ideological word used to describe someone whose gender identity matched their sex. It's overwhelmingly rejected and seen as offensive by those who see women as rooted in their biological sex.

Douglas has acknowledged these images without apology, however, has made no reference to further images of tweets that refer to "throat punching fascists", using a shiv (sharp weapon) on anyone deemed to have misgendered and appeared to like a comment calling for a "b*****s hyoid to be broken" if they use the wrong pronoun.

Social media posts from 2019 suggests a statement was made from Douglas's Twitter handle @pickle_bee that said: "Throat punching fascists and inciting violence are two different things, inciting violence is a terf game as old as time and we see right through your facade".

Douglas described the recent women's rights rally in Glasgow that was counter-protested by a group called "Furries against Fascism", as having "mein kampf"- Adolf Hitler's infamous book- and said "anti-fascist prayers" were needed.

This comes amid increasing tensions between trans activists and women's rights campaigners that peaked when a pro-GRR demonstration hosted a sign calling for "Terfs" to be "decapitated".

Scottish Conservative MSP Pam Gosal told the Scottish Express: “Beth Douglas has often posted many threats- including violent ones- to those who are opposed to her views in relation to gender reform.

“The Scottish Greens should have disassociated themselves from this individual and her remarks, but have allowed Beth Douglas to continue in a prominent role within their party. Anyone advocating violence should not be given the green light to continue in such a public-facing role in any political party.”

The Scottish Greens told the Scottish Express: “This individual is suspended from the party. We have nothing further to add.”

Just normal stuff from political parties in Scotland.

This is a *thing* in American social justice discourse, which I first saw applied to black advocacy. The problem is never the argument. It's perfect and no person, reasonable or otherwise, could fail to be convinced by it. So self evidently true, merely hearing it recited converts the non-believer. Therefore the issue is that the person who does not agree hasn't truly listened, because if they had they would agree.

"Why won't you just believe?" is what it comes down to. It's just the shallow, childish, unconsidered Tumblr activism coming from people who dress up in cause of the day because they think it makes them good people. If kids get fucked, maybe they ought not have been so fuckable in the first place. Or something. The argument is never wrong. The cause is just. Believe.
