all he'd have to do to hurt the chinks real bad is to drive up Chinese manufacturing costs. that's all. the CCP got where it is by being the cheap factory country but the problem is this created a huge middle class in china so making stuff there isn't so cheap anymore once you factor in air/sea shipping rates.
increase the costs and suddenly it becomes cheaper it manufacture in North America to cut out the shipping middle man. Tariffs are a part of that but I'm sure Biden and the democrats will fuck it up intentionally or not.

On the topic of China it's economy is state controled. The 1990s and beyond saw the state allow more economic freedom but high employment was the goal.

The trade is the people will have jobs but stay out of politics and the state owned enterprises dealing with smelting is basically a jobs program you can't compete with chinese smelting cause they are playing a different game.

It's because liquid assets are much smaller. Sure there's trillions and trillions of dollars in value out there in the world, but a liquid 15-20 million being moved around to individuals raises eyebrows if it doesn't involve a small amount of high profile super rich business men or celebrities and it isn't well-hidden. He spent his entire term dismantling Trump's tariff regime and destroying domestic industry, not only in the US, but in the EU and Germany in particular through his foreign policy.

Plants in the US and EU responsible for upwards of 1/3 of global aluminum production were GOING BROKE due to the energy poverty he caused.
So now he's imposing tariffs rather than backing off his "green" insanity, which basically means he's adding massively to the cost of our aluminum, which USED to be competitive with a fraction of the tariffs he's imposing now, due to the energy costs he imposed.

The primary issue with your idea vis-a-vis the house is that Pelosi had control/the ability to control the apparatus involved. Johnson (Who may or may not be a cuck) does not, nor does Gaetz or whoever you might place in Pelosi's shoes. The Republicans simply do not have a strong leader/clique in the house (to my knowledge) who can act in the same way as Pelosi did, and puppet members to their will. The whole exercise doesn't work if you don't actually have the power to go through with it.
