I've noticed quite a few people here are having an increasingly difficult time distinguishing between homosexuality and pedophilia due to the frequency of both of these deviations manifesting in an individual at the same time, so here's a helpful image:

Correct. It's just a bot that joins and lurks, grabbing messages. Someone has to give it an invite link. I've been doing audits for people I know and the only things that turn up are highly public servers with thousands of users. Even (smallish) servers I expected to be specifically targeted had zero info.

It CAN get into private servers but again, a user with invite privs has to rat it out. And even then on a small server people will go 'who's this rando that joined?'

There's not much technologically to be done to prevent a kid from wandering into a chat and sexting with people, that's why parents need to keep an eye on their kids instead of treating the Internet as a babysitter. But servers focused on wanting to bang kids are a low hanging fruit that discord should not be having a rough time finding and killing.

It must be very depressing to go into student debt to study to be a journalist only to be easily replaced and outclassed by some autist with free time :story:. Best of all, while we do make fun or ridicule the people we archive mostly for entertainment and we usually don't inject our politics into the OPs. Mainstream journalism is on a decline, a dead end job and is being replaced by citizens with an Internet connection.
