I don't think they'd like how this turns out if they withdraw secret service protection.
Better to have Trump in a cell block alone than turning a cell block into his personal army, and you know he has the charisma to do so.

Edit: have you noticed that there is no political campaigns? Like no vote for biden ads and no vote for trump ads? Biden doesn't even hold public speeches anymore without handpicked people in them .

Last time they whipped everyone up into a frenzy to dethrone Trump. That has Not. Worked. Out for them. If I had spent 2020 dedicating every ounce of my being and sacrificing every shred of my honor to elect a man that turns out to be senile and a liar, I would really not want to go through that again. Everyone had so much TDS that they believed that they needed to elect Biden to save America, and they followed that belief with the religious fervor of doomsday fanatics donating their lives savings and maxing out their credit cards to the prophets that were swindling them. Now even if they aren't 100% humiliated how badly they were tricked, they don't have the same resources left and are more cautious with how they spend it.

There are labor aristocrats who luck out and become wealthy but they're not really the same people as the generationally wealthy either. They're still upstarts who don't actually have that old money soul to them. Hell, Elon Musk isn't even one of them. He's the son of a diamond magnate and a model.

Well, I can think of a few reasons though don't take any of these as gospel. This is just me considering it.
The first and biggest thing to keep in mind is that this -is- basically two incumbents in what is a de facto unopposed primary. The votes were behind Trump, everyone knew they were, and so while it was a bit of a circus the Republican primary basically did jack and shit to really push add buys. Additionally, this means that both candidates are well known so attempts to hit them on their prior records or statements to poison the well are absolutely pointless. These would make up the majority of ads normally for the non-incumbent candidate.
The second thing that comes to mind is that... neither side may actually know -how- to attack the other. Biden can't go after Trump on his record because it would put a spotlight on his terrible handling. All the Pussy Tapes and Orange Man bad has been used and won't change anyone's mind. They just have no good angles of attack. The problem is that... its kinda the same for Trump going after Biden. There is no need to spotlight Biden's terrible job because everyone is feeling it. All spotlighting it does is make people more miserable with no real benefit. Any other issues are either not yet present (We are not At War yet) or are topical (And thus better used later to keep it fresh in minds)
So in the end I would posit its not nefarious... its just that nobody has anything worth saying at this time. Courtesy of the unique circumstances. So likely both parties are just not really bothering and saving most of their powder and money for closer to the election.

Slight issue is Biden and company keep adding daily to the shitpile they've created, and Trump and his supporters cannot ignore or not bring attention the newest shit being spewed out.

They largely don't need to bring attention to it though. Any time Biden fucks up it takes a grand total of maybe half a day before every facebook, twitter, telegram, discord, etc account knows about it. Word of Mouth has gone from damn good to all encompassing. I would be curious what many people's ideas are as to why though. Yet, it is also clear as day. Attempts to memory hole fail, attempts to pretend bullshit fail, everyone knows real quick.
