Prohibition never works enforcing laws and protecting people from disruptive people does. New York should learn that.

The problem is the parents that didn't care about their child enough to monitor their internet usage so they wouldn't be exposed to furry shit.

Adding to this, the school faculty should have expelled these students if assault is actually taking place. Imagine, as a young man or gal, being told to trust the faculty and honor their authority and it is a one way street. That would be enough to radicalize me and put it in me that authority is bull shit; which it is.

This is the thing that always gets me, with all the degenerate shit I’ve seen, I’ve never known any furry to actually use a litterbox. Every time this gets mentioned I usually write off the story as a joke, or people falling for obvious trolling.

Nowadays it is hard to tell though.

Considering how much crap has been hidden in say, Discord, I would not be surprised if there are groomers and trolls (using this in a broad definition and not just minors) that are corrupting youths to do humiliating things like actually act like animals.

I was in a populated high school and knew several furries, only one wore ears unironically but it often got overlooked as eccentric because the person wearing them was top 1% of their class. I also remember there were a big internal drama over the difference between furry and therians. Furries being a fandom about anthroporphic characters and the others believing they are an animal trapped in a human shell. This antics in Utah is more in line with that form of dysphoria and not necessarily furry. It's kind of annoying how dumb smart folks can be, its the same interloping that we see with the LGBT movement converting to its Gender Theory and Race based ideology instead of sexuality. Bad actors are taking over all sorts of fandoms spanning from LOTR, Warhammer, MTG, Dungeons and Dragons, gaming in general riding the coat tails to push their own ideas of "utopia". It's gettin' old, much like the low effort b8.

I have no love for furries but this doesn’t seem real, what the kids interviewed were saying sounds a little rehearsed to me and it reminds me of the litter box shit from a while ago. As other users said, there would have been some photo or video evidence of some kid in a fur suit. Could still have happened, just not convinced from this.

I hate to be that guy, as I am in the A&N threads, but the kids they are protesting are not the same as the furries as discussed in this thread.
They get the same label since boomers/media don't know what the hell else to call them. I will refer to the as "trans species" since otherkin is dead and this is by extension a result of tranny ideology.
ALSO keep in mind I am only informed via articles on similar situations and bitching from my co-workers who have children that deal with the same issues in their schools. If there are children with fursuits running around biting people through the suit, please inform me with proof ASAP.

Its that but being annoying about it even in class. Before hand, this kind of activity was controlled either by parents or teachers. That changed recently when transexual gender identity started being taken seriously in all schools.
You could no longer allowed to question a child's "identity" , and ideology radical teachers think whatever these kids identify as is valid. Thus, you have trans-species children not only appealing but being actively defended by teachers. No, they don't buy custom suits that costs thousands of dollars children do not have. Instead, they get shitty ears/tails at most, since their "identity" does not require such extremes for teachers to validate them. They don't have "fursonas", instead just act like what ever animal they "identify" with. They are not furries, but children that followed the natural thought process of transgender thinking.

Part of this is that the LDS church says that R rated movies are sinful, so many couples rely on older disney movies as their only real fandom, so their thinking is limited to very tame varieties of humor. In light of this I doubt a boomer told them to create their slogan. boomerism is the local culture on some level.

I remember a furry or two in HS, but no one wore a suit to school. This is different. And I haven't been out of school that long. Yeah we've always had a nerd culture, but furries have always been in the corner. I really don't know.
