Furry Fandom and Drama General

I don't know why so many are so certain this is a hoax. A girl in a UK school was suspended for telling another girl that this girl wasn't a cat. And no, there isn't some wildly missing part of the story. That was pretty much all she did. In the current climate I could well see other teachers afraid to do anything about it if the principal was protecting them. And according to one of the kids in the interview the principal's daughter was one of them. It seems a bit large and consistent to be a hoax to me. I could be wrong, but I see it as pretty plausible. The idea that it can't be real due to lack of pictures isn't an assurance to me because kids probably know just how much trouble they could get into for that. Whereas going out and protesting in numbers is something they can get away with.

The protesting students admitted that the furries are being bullied.
At 49:54 in the video the protesting students said, "and also if you're a furry and like you want to to be a furry you should just be homeschooled like honestly" and "it'll keep them from getting bullied".

If you wear a dog outfit and bark at people you deserve to get bullied until you stop. It's like bullying the kid that smells like shit into taking a shower. There are minimum standards for behavior in a society.

Where I live they have litter boxes in the boys and girls bathrooms. Kids took pictures. They were removed. I'll see if any news outlet made an article.
Very small town.
It reminds me of invasive species. Wokeshit developed in universities and in corporate America, so in their world its most ridiculous excesses are usually curbed, but when it escapes into small towns it runs roughshod over everything.

I doubt this is a hoax, only because I know a teacher who - on the other side of the continent- had the same sort of problem happening in class. In elementary school.

Okay, I am now fully sold on this being real.
I thought for a bit that all this might be fake, since the videos could have just been staged, someone gets on their knees for a second, bam, viral prank/publicity stunt.
But that cadence on the girl holding the leash sells it. I have been out of high school for 3~4 years, but I can still pin that speaking style clear as day. The awkward stiltedness, the lack of confidence in her words, even as she is trying to "stand up" to someone. It speaks to a person that has only ever spoken on the internet, where she can say horrible things in text where everyone will echo her opinions.
You cannot replicate that voice without being a master of acting, and the people who speak like this would not be caught in hell going along with this kind of joke. This is real, and she believes in what she is doing in this video, leading another student by a leash.

When I went to high school dress code was strictly enforced. Not uniforms or authoritarian bullshit, but no sagging pants, girls must abide by shorts and skirts longer than their fingertips (leggings let you bypass this), and a few other things.

Of course, things have changed since 2010 and the school has deteriorated, including letting a rodent infestation get out of control, and my cousin's kid does talk about furries wearing tails, and apparently, this is tolerated now. Culture wars got to it, I know the Gay-Straight Alliance also got larger and more prominent (it used to be a few tiny signs, by 2016 they had their own t-shirts, given what I saw someone wearing to a store once).
Dress codes got relaxed because of the younger teachers being put into class rooms. Back in my day the youngest male teachers were over forty years old with some women being in their mid to late 30's. Now we see people in their 20's teaching high school students and are into all sorts of kink shit. This is mainly at public schools from what I've seen. I've put my kids into private schools so they can get the best education possible and get away from all the degeneracy found in cheap public schools. Already saw my daughter abused in the public school system and how teachers didn't give a shit. I'm not letting that happen again to my kids.

not gonna lie if the school is that helpless to do anything i would not be surprised if some kids are just joining in simply for the sake of fucking with people. i know back when i was in school we used to do stuff like this when our school had costume day.

i do wonder what the source of the furries in this case is though you do not usually get more than like 3 furries per school usually you might get some of those extra weird kids who think they are dogs or the ones who just copy whoever they are friends with but actual furries are usually low. things could have changed though but i doubt it.

Yeah... during the time period I was in middle school you would get annihilated by the bullies if you decided to come to school barking and wearing a fucking dog collar.

EARLY AND OFTEN

I am strongly of the opinion keep your weird sexfetishes mostly to yourself, unless you are using the fact that you like something bizarre in furtherance of a particularly entertaining and heavily self-deprecating joke. I mean I know I would expect not a single soul to like me if I decided to go around being a douchebag talking about women's titties all day long, forging my entire personality around how much I love vagina.

It's the main reason I am so sick to death of all this tranny and queer stuff...its all they ever fucking talk about. They just talk about their sexuality, non stop. I don't care. I don't wanna hear it. eventually, this seems to become their only avenue with which to achieve positive dopamine hits of affirmation for them..."do they like what I have done to myself yes or no, do they agree with me specifically yes or no"...positive feelings if yes, negative feelings if no. There is no middleground in the landscape of their ego. No room for it, really. And that's their life. It's sad and irritating at the same time

Haven't read through the replies past the feature, but this is a surprisingly common thing over the last few years (the furries in public schools thing, not the actual protests to it). Slight powerlevel here, I was in High School in or around 2016, there was a dedicated furry autist clique that wore cat ears and meowed at random passerbys, I had a buddy who barked at them once (as a joke) and they all broke down crying and my buddy got sent to the Principal because of it. Fast forward to now, a coworker of mine who had a kid who goes to the same school that I did attested that - despite the original members of that clique being long gone and having graduated years ago - that clique still exists, and it's been expanding. It goes beyond run-of-the-mill furfaggotry, it's straight up teenagers larping as animals in day to day life. One story from that coworker's kid involved a peer of his, a teenager - around 16 or 17 - crawling up on a desk, curling up like a dog does in it's bed, and barking to himself while sleeping in the middle of class. His words were "The teacher told us to be as quiet as possible or it would be a write up. You try not laughing when that shit's happening two seats over." Personally, I'm just perplexed how it all got this far to begin with.

I would not believe this story except for the fact that is in Utah. Utah has some strange parts to it.

Furries tried to ride the gay marriage wave into being normalized and then everyone realized they are retarded coomers, and they failed. Perhaps there will be another attempt to get furries normalized.

I for one am glad that furries are back to being the main autists to cringe and laugh at. I'm tired of the tranny saga.
Say that when another big Zoosadist incident occurs.

Trust us Zoomers on this one, you oldfags may not believe it but there has been a scary increase in kids who are pretending to be wholeass animals in schools.
I swear by Allah, my school had multiple cats, and I’ve heard from trusted sources that the ginger one with a lot of Asperger’s and the cancer patient got in a fist fight over chess club.
And yes, they were both cats.
The kids are not alright.

Oh I believe you as an older zoomer. It feels like furries are back with a vengeance now that social media has made them even worse than they were in the 2000s.
