Papua New Guinea’s Prime Minister James Marape clapped back at Joe Biden, after the U.S. president implied his uncle — an American World War II pilot — had been eaten by “cannibals” after crashing on the Pacific island.

“President Biden’s remarks may have been a slip of the tongue; however, my country does not deserve to be labeled as such,” Marape said in a statement, several media outlets reported Monday.

Biden made the controversial remark last week, when recounting the death of his uncle Ambrose Finnegan, an Army Air Corps member who flew reconnaissance missions during World War II.

“And he got shot down in New Guinea, and they never found the body because there used to be — there were a lot of cannibals, for real, in that part of New Guinea,” Biden said while speaking at the United Steelworkers headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Defending his country, Marape also urged Biden to “clean up” the remains of World War II casualties “scattered all over” Papua New Guinea.

“Perhaps, given President Biden’s comments and the strong reaction from PNG and other parts of the world, it is time for the USA to find as many remains of World War II in PNG as possible, including those of servicemen who lost their lives like Ambrose Finnegan,” he said.

Biden has repeatedly slipped up with memory lapses and gaffes as he runs against Republican candidate Donald Trump for a second term in the White House.

The Papuans should be suing the Haitians for cultural appropriation.

Come on now it s just bidens dementia causing him to mix things up. His uncle didn't crash in papua and get eaten. He was flying over the US, had engine trouble and crashed in a remote meeting lodge owned by the washingtonians and ended up becoming their july 4th feast:

Right, New Guinea should instead be remembered for their ritual boy rape:

It should be noted that Papua New Guinea is one of the biggest shitholes on Earth. People give Sub-Saharan Africa, Haiti and much of South Asia shit, but PNG (lol acronym) is just on a whole other level.

You just don't hear about them a lot because they're a pretty irrelevant nation with no notable industries or tourism to speak of aside from the Aussies owning the land until the 70s. Most of the population are primitive tribesmen who, for literally thousands of years never even got close to their respective 'Bronze Age' and are still stuck hunting and gathering.

And the few civilized ones who exist have turned their capital city (Port Moresby) into a crime-ridden shithole where you more or less need to pay for armed guards 24/7 if you don't want to get robbed, beaten, raped, killed, and then eaten in that order. Thankfully they're too retarded to engage in piracy or any sort of transnational criminal empires where they'd be a bother to anyone outside their borders.

There's also the degeneracy that goes on in the tribes like the aforementioned pedophillia and cannibalism. The steep mountain geography ensures there's (quite literally) thousands of different tribes and ethnic groups that all hate each other and constantly killing one another more or less keeps everything static. The Balkans ain't got shit on them. The average PNG tribe probably hates another tribe that lives next to them more than your average Waffen SS member hates da juice and there's not really any good reason why; aside from killing the other tribe for their meat.

To top it all off; their most closest ethnic relatives? Australian Aboriginals. Makes sense once you think about it.

Honestly TPD (Total Papunigger Death) is severely underrated. We got to boost the TPD fandom, but I guess the Indonesians got it covered already. Indonesia Raya, baby! 🇮🇩

Does it? From what I can tell they were much more advanced than their Australian neighbors. While primitive, they were more in line with the Pacific nations. They build permanent structures etc, and so aren't just wandering, hunting and gathering.

The whole story and the reaction actually makes me wonder if what Biden said was true. It's just we have to pretend cannibalism wasn't a thing. Even though there are reports of it going on in Papua as recent as 2012.

A 2013 United Nations survey of 843 men found that 62% (530 respondents) of those have raped a woman or girl at least once, with 41% (217 respondents) of the men reported having raped a non-partner, whereas 14% (74 respondents) reported having committed gang rape. Additionally, the survey also found that 8% (67 respondents) of the men had raped other men or boys.

What a lovely place.
