If this is anything to go by, he has a lot of space that he probably doesnt use or is basically empty. Then again wouldnt surprise me if he had any of the empty rooms filled with trash like that one room with the gamer statues and such. Honestly idk why would he live in such a big place when its only 2 people...then again he lives with his roommate. That condo looks like a place where you would live with an actual family.

Likely at the time the easiest thing he could find that was in a gated community. Security, the feeling of having 'made it' in such a rather otherwise probably nice area, as far from the East Coast as you can get in terms of state borders, and all the space he could ever want.

Remember that he's only even married purely as a coping mechanism because Leana ditched him and he couldn't allow the impression he totally didn't have a GF/wife and that meant he was a LOSER.

Phil is a hoarder and filled it up immediately. Have you seen those pictures of the CTcahndo where literally every surface was full of dumb gamer statues? Back when he did house tours he showed that nook/open closet off the master bathroom was completely full of boxes. Then his living room was crammed full of bluray racks, which he allegedly has sold but obviously has provided no proof of doing so. Leanna had the second bedroom as an "office" and I guess Kat uses it now as a Skyrim gooning cell.

The Khando fits Phil so well. Its a nonhouse larping as your stereotypical middle America house emblematic of proper white bread America that mostly exists in Norman Rockwell paintings. Throw in the gated complex. The most hilariously prototypical way the lower middle class larps as the upper. Its almost like this is a dramedy or novel and the writer is a bit heavy handed with heaping on the symbolism.

It reminds me of a modern day madame bovery but with a fat ugly man as the protagonist.
