It’s a bizarre trend where no one in fiction is allowed to be sexist for any reason under any context ever. Sokka from Avatar can’t be sexist in the remake even though his sexism was the main character flaw that led him to learn humility and grow as both a person and a warrior through competent female warriors training him. Villains are allowed to physically attack, inflict pain, kill, deceive, manipulate, do all kinds of bad things. But God forbid they say anything politically incorrect, even though they’re villains and it would be a golden opportunity for the writer to tell the audience “See this? The villain is saying a bad thing, don’t say bad things or you’ll be like the villain”.
You can’t even saying “Vivian is a girl” anymore because even that basic sentiment is split between “Vivian is a girl because there’s nothing in the US version that implies otherwise” and “Vivian is a girl because trans women are HECKIN’ VALID AND WHOLESOME”.It's a shame that Vivian is bringing this shitty drama with her because she was always my favorite next to Bobbery and she was always a true and honest girl (female) to me
Cuz they ended up bringing back the whole "EVERYTHING IS MADE OUT OF PAPER" gimmick. Its not as bad as previous games, but it makes it look less than an actual living world you're inmersed in, and more like some model you'd make for middle school or something
Funniest thing is that this is exactly how the series went to shit.
You can switch between partners using a Partner Ring instead of having to go through menus, apparently. The shortcut pipes are also clearly numbered and accessible through Rougeport directly instead of going through the sewers. Also a glorified battle tutorial through Rogueport's new Battle Master.
A bunch of little things. Fast travel is streamlined with an easily-accessible hub area with pipes leading to all the major locations, you can quickly swap partners, there’s a dojo where you can practice moves, that sort of thing. You can also unlock a bunch of concept art and there’s a sound test in the pause menu.
It's not just #MeToo (Infact I'd argue they're completely innocent when the group is led by feminists and feminists don't tend to like troons) SJWism in general and the bullshit it brings destroys stories and art. There's plenty proof of it by now.

Man, if fucking only it was just a texture pack. I genuinely have to wonder what retard thought every single fucking floor needed to be reflective. Why the fuck are the grassy fields reflective? Why the fuck is the wooden stage reflective? Also, the "voice" of Goombella (and most of the characters) is genuinely fucking awful and grating; I can not even imagine having to listen to it for hours on end.
I don't care how "accurate" it is, calling it "The Three Shadows" is lame as fuck. For fuck sakes, the original Japanese name for the game is "Mario Story 2" and I don't see anyone lining up to slap that on the cover.
A middle schooler would unironically do a better job than what Nintendo did here.
